Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 36 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 130 Nursing Homes and 27 Churches. To God Be
The Glory!
Monday September 7 th ~
Labor Day! Published the update from the home of Brother Robert. A member of the
Restoration Worship Center here in Bandon, Oregon. Enjoyed a relaxing day of fellowship.
Tuesday September 8 th ~
Drove south to Brookings, Oregon and sang at the "Good Samaritan" nursing home.
Wednesday September 9 th ~
Drove inland to "Nook Bar" camping area on the Chetco River. Lord put it in my heart to
work on a new song built around a phrase I overheard in church Sunday.
A precious little lady crawling along using a walker with wheels said "I'm gonna roll right on
out of this world". I immediately found pen and paper and wrote it down.
Thursday September 10 th ~
One more day down by the river.
Friday September 11 th ~
Praise God for another song!
Back to the coast. Heading south. Crossed into California and sang at the "Crescent City
Health & Rehab Center".
Saturday September 12 th ~
Drove south to Eureka, California and ministered at the "Granada Healthcare & Rehab
Center". Shortly after I started, three men from a locale church dropped in, which turns out
they do from time to time to share the Word. We ended up alternating back and forth.
Worked out fine.
Sunday September 13 th ~
Attended worship services at the "Calvary Community Church" in Fields Landing, California.
Enjoyed the Honor of contributing a couple of songs. These dear folks gathered up a sweet
Love Offering for our ministry. May God Bless Them!
Fred (one of the Elders) invited me to lunch where we joined the Pastors (Dennis & Daphne).
Bless his heart, Fred offered to share his house for a few days while I'm in the area. We had
a wonderful afternoon of kick'n back, watch'n football and visiting.
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
