Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 34 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 123 Nursing Homes and 24 Churches.
To God Be
The Glory!
     Monday August 24 th ~
From the "Foursquare Church" here in Reedsport, Oregon I published the update. Then
ministered at the nursing home attached to the hospital.
Spent the afternoon recording tracks for a couple of songs back at the church.

Tuesday August 25 th ~
Deb & Jody came by the church to record backup vocals on three songs. Then had me over
to their home for dinner and some sweet fellowship.

Wednesday August 26 th ~
An uplifting time for me, being given access to the church facilities while I've been here. A
place to relax a little, as well as do some recording work. May God Bless These Brothers &
Sisters In Christ.
Drove to Coos Bay, Oregon and sang at "The Life Care of Coos Bay".

Thursday August 27 th ~
The Nazarene church here in Coos Bay has allowed me a place to park overnight, and use
of their shower facilities. May God Bless Them!
I was able to minister at the "Ocean Crest" ALF for a small group of folks. Yesterday, when I
stopped here to arrange it, the activity director wanted me to sing a few songs for her first.
This is the second time in the past five years I've been asked to
Audition for a nursing
home:-)

Friday August 28 th ~
Sang at the "Inland Point" assisted living facility. Quite a bit of excitement and screaming at
the nurses station. They though they'd seen a snake. Turned out to be a large lizard.

Saturday August 29 th ~
Ministered at the "Ocean Ridge" assisted living facility. Before I started they made sure I
knew I was invited to stay for lunch. I said "I've sang for my dinner many a time". Folks were
very enthusiastic and complimentary.
    Sunday August 30 th ~
Attended worship services here at the Nazarene church. Followed by a fellowship meal
honoring the VBS staff.
Got in a long walk in a park, then attended evening services and joined a small group at Mc
D's afterwards.

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
