Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 30 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 109 Nursing Homes and 20 Churches. To God
Be The Glory!

Monday July 27 th ~
We're having a rare Heat Wave, here in the Willamette Valley. Into the triple digits. Got
out early over to Wal-mart to have mounted a couple of new tires on the van in
preparation for getting back on the road. Put it off longer than I should have. Praise God
the resources are there to do it.
Back to my Host home to publish and start packing up.

Tuesday July 28 th ~
Spent the first half of the day cleaning the trailer and organizing the van. Then ran into
Eugene to minister at the "Terpening Terrace" ALF. One fella asked if I have considered
singing in Synagogues. Said I'd love to.
A record breaking 106 degrees. The van's speedometer stopped working and the Service
Engine Soon light came on.

Wednesday July 29 th ~
Said my goodbye's to this Awesome couple who have given me a home for the past
month. A place to record, relax, rejuvenate. A month long respite from the road. May God
Bless Them!
Started for the coast, pausing at an auto parts store to get the code read-out on the
Check Engine Light. "Vehicle Speed Sensor". Speedometer was working for a while, then
stopped. As I crossed the coastal mountain range it started working again. So I'm in a
wait-and-see mode.
In Toledo, Oregon at the United Methodist Church, I'd been previously invited to sing at
"Meals-On-Wheels". Having the use of the church facilities this organization has a group
of Seniors who come in for a sit down meal in addition to the meals which are delivered to
home bound folks.

Thursday July 30 th ~
Sang at the "Newport Rehab" nursing home in Newport, Oregon. One of the residents
gave me an awesome compliment (said the music was Healing) and wanted to donate
some dollar bills for the ministry as well. May God Bless Her!

Friday July 31 st ~
Drove to Lincoln City, Oregon and sang at the "Lakeview" ALF. First in the Alzheimer's
Unit. Then over in the main lobby.
Parked at the Foursquare Church for the night.

Saturday August 1 st ~
Attended a men's breakfast fellowship here at the church.

Sunday August 2 nd ~
Attended worship services here at the "Foursquare Church" where I enjoyed the Honor
of contributing a couple of songs. Got invited to lunch at a family's home where I soaked
up some sweet fellowship.

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
