Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 30 weeks since beginning this year's mission. So far we've enjoyed
the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 94 Nursing Homes and 26 Churches. To
God Be The Glory!
Monday July 26 th ~
Said my goodbye's to the folks here at the Methodist church in Tillamook. Then drove
south down the coast to the Foursquare church in Lincoln City where I published the
newsletter and parked for the night.
Tuesday July 27 th ~
Visited with Darrell a bit. Drove south to Newport for lunch with a dear family. Then on
to Yachts, Oregon to minister at the "Sea Aire" assisted living facility.
Ended up in Florence, Oregon where I was allowed to park for the night at the "Church
On The Rock".
Wednesday July 28 th ~
Ministered at the "Spruce Point" assisted living facility here in Florence. First in the
main activity room, then over in the Alzheimer's Unit.
During mid-week services at the "Church On The Rock" I was given the opportunity to
share a song.
Ended the day at the "Thousand Trails" campground.
A family had emailed me a couple of days ago offering the use of an extra vacant site
next to their travel trailer which they had already paid for through the week. Enjoyed a
nice visit around the campfire.
Thursday July 29 th ~
After a long walk around Thousand Trails I ran some errands in town. Then spent the
rest of the day by the campfire visiting with this sweet family.
Friday July 30 th ~
More visiting till noon. Enjoyed a sit down lunch in town with the family before heading
our separate ways. What a joy it's been getting to know this Christian family. Holding a
baby, and watching the little ones run around. May God Bless These Dear Folks!
Ministered at "The Regency" nursing home here in Florence. Then drove to
Reedsport, Oregon to the "Foursquare Church".
Saturday August 1 st ~
Spent the morning doing domestic chores. Lunch with a Sister (Diane). Jambalaya.
Yum!
Some time at Winchester Bay, then a visit with Sisters Deb, Jody, their friends and
family.
Sunday August 2 nd ~
Attended worship services at the "Foursquare Church" here in Reedsport where I
enjoyed the Honor of contributing a Special.
Lunch with the Pastor's family, then dinner with Deb, Jody, friends and family.
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
