Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 28 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 87 Nursing Homes and 23 Churches. To God
Be The Glory!
Monday July 12 th ~
Published from Al & Karolyn's house here in Junction City, Oregon. Then did some
more recording work in the "Fifth Wheel RV Temporary Recording Studio".
Tuesday July 13 th ~
Started packing up the van and cleaning the Fifth Wheel in preparation for leaving
tomorrow. Then into Eugene to ministered at the "Terpening Terrace" retirement
community during the early evening, for a sweet group of folks.
Wednesday July 14 th ~
Finished packing the van and said my goodbyes. What an awesome couple to give me
the use of their Fifth Wheel while I'm here. May God Bless Them!
Headed west to the Oregon Coast and hooked up with friends in Newport. Joined
them for mid-week services at the AG church.
Thursday July 15 th ~
Ministered at the "Newport Rehab & Specialty Care" facility here on the coast.
Later, at the library, I received a Praise Worthy email and phone message. A Dear
friend (Darryl) back in Eugene had found a generous Dentist (Bob) interested in helping.
Praise God!
They wanted me there first thing tomorrow. So, I drove the two hours back into the
Willamette Valley so I'd be on time in the morning.
Friday July 16 th ~
Got there first thing. Turns out the tooth which has been bothering me on and off for
about a year has a large older filling that had separated from it's bond with the rest of the
tooth. Bob called it a leakage around the filling. The tooth was still viable.
Bob spent several hours rebuilding the tooth and adjusting it to fit the partial.
No Charge! May God Bless Him!
In the evening I enjoyed a sweet visit with Darryl over pizza at his place. Now talk
about going the extra mile. Not only did Darryl's efforts make it possible to get the tooth
fixed, he even supplied the ministry with a portable stand for the keyboard (which there is
now room for, with the larger van). And then to top it all off, he slipped me some gas
money. M.G.B.H!
Saturday July 17 th ~
Headed back to the Oregon Coast and spent the afternoon at the Newport Fair
watching some Bull Riding with a Dear Sister in Christ (Robin). Then drove up the coast
to Lincoln City to the Foursquare Church for the night.
Sunday July 18 th ~
Got invited to sing with the Praise Team. Then the Pastor (Darrell) gave me the Honor
of sharing a couple of songs before the sermon.
Following the service, a couple in the church took me out to lunch. Mexican Food.
Yum! Then back at the church, Darrell had provided a key to the building for access to
the Internet, kitchen and such. May God Bless These Dear Believers!
And So Begins Another Week.
