"Grandview Rehab"
Junction City, Oregon
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 27 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed
the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 100 Nursing Homes and 18 Churches.
To God Be The Glory!
Monday July 6 th ~
Published the update from the home of my host (Al & Karolyn) here in Junction City,
Oregon. Spent the rest of the day working on recordings.
Tuesday July 7 th ~
More recording work. Then joined Al & Karolyn for their Tuesday night prayer
meeting.
Wednesday July 8 th ~
Sang at the "Grandview Nursing & Rehab Center" in Junction City, Oregon.
Thursday July 9 th ~
Ministered at the "Eugene Rehab Center".
As I was singing "I'll Fly Away" I noticed a lady with a vacant stare. Almost a glare. I
was moved to lock eye's with her through most of the song. Something I rarely do. At
one point her mouth began to move. She was singing along.
Later, two men told me that was the first time they'd seen her respond to anything.
Praise God!
Friday July 10 th ~
Spent the day doing recording work.
Saturday July 11 th ~
Attended an early morning bible study at a local restaurant.
Sunday July 12 th ~
Attended the early worship service at "Grace Community Fellowship". Then over to
"Norkenzie Church of Christ".
Thunderstorms and rain most of the day. High of about 69 degrees.
Attended evening worship services at the "Bethany Church" where I enjoyed the
Honor of contributing some songs.
And So Begins Another Week.
