Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 27 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 85 Nursing Homes and 22 Churches. To God
Be The Glory!
Monday July 5 th ~
Spent this holiday relaxing, after publishing the Update from Al & Karolyn's house
here in Junction City, Oregon.
Tuesday July 6 th ~
Eight days ago I ordered (on-line) 200 Inkjet Printable CD Blanks. They arrived by UPS
this morning. So I got started Burning the music onto them and then running them
through the printer.
Wednesday July 7 th ~
More CD assembly.
Thursday July 8 th ~
Finished printing, assembling and packaging all 200 CD's. Should last for a while.
Ministered at "Junction City Retirement & Assisted Living" for a sweet group of folks.
Several remembered me from previous years. And afterwards one ol'e timer solemnly
stood to shake my hand, thanking me for sharing the old hymns. The old time respect he
demonstrated Humbled me.
Friday July 9 th ~
With the CD assembly job done and only a few more days available to use the Fifth
Wheel, I went ahead and broke out the recording equipment with keyboard and started
working on some music for the next CD.
Saturday July 10 th ~
Attended the early morning breakfast bible study in Eugene. Ran some errands. Then
back to the Temporary Recording Studio.
Sunday July 11 th ~
Attended morning worship services at the "Norkenzie Church of Christ" in Eugene.
Then out to Franklin at the Bethany church for the evening worship service where I
enjoyed the Honor of leading the congregation in a bunch of songs followed by an Ice
Cream Social. Yum!
And So Begins Another Week.
