Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 21 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 80 Nursing Homes and 17 Churches. To God
Be The Glory!
Monday May 25 th ~
Published the update from Pam, Rick & Cullen's house. Spent the Holiday (Memorial)
relaxing with the family, eating some delicious meals and walking in the park.
Tuesday May 26 th ~
Said my goodbye's to this wonderful family. What an awesome example of Hospitality.
Drove northwest to the "Mother of Mercy Nursing Home & Retirement Center" in Albany,
Minnesota where I was able to sing for a large group of folks in their Chapel.
Wednesday May 27 th ~
Sang at the "Getty Street" ALF in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
Thursday May 28 th ~
Ministered in the TV room, then over in the activity room of the "Central Todd County
Care Center" in Clarissa, Minnesota.
Friday May 29 th ~
Sang in the Alzheimer's Unit of the "Riverview Health Care Center" in Crookston,
Minnesota. Then over in the Cafeteria after their scheduled church service.
Continuing west, crossed the border into North Dakota.
Saturday May 30 th ~
In Rugby, North Dakota I was able to minister at the "Haaland Home" ALF. Hooked up
with a locale Pastor (Clarence) whose wife has recently entered long term care.
Sunday May 31 st ~
A Unique Day!
Some Pastors had invited me to minister in their congregations. So at the early service
of the "Knox Community Church" I enjoyed the Honor of contributing a twenty minute
"Sermon in Song". Then at the mid-morning service of the "North Prairie Free Lutheran
Church", was given the opportunity to do the same. Finally at the late morning service of
the "LeBanon Lutheran Church", a third Honor to contribute to the worship.
Drove to Minot, North Dakota and spent a few hours at the Zoo. Said a prayer asking the
Lord to move the Lion to Roar. And Praise God the beast did. Several times. Neat!
Attended evening worship services at the "Lighthouse Church" where it happened to be
their monthly "Sharing" service. Thanks to email they knew I was coming and gave me
the Honor of contributing another "Sermon in Song".
What a Day of opportunities to serve the Lord. Thank You Jesus!
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
