Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 17 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 61 Nursing Homes and 14 Churches. To God
Be The Glory!

Monday April 26 th ~
Published the update from the library in Nashville, Michigan. Then further north in
Ionia, Michigan I was able to sing at the "Heartland Health Care Center". While shaking
hands afterwards, a male resident about my age with severely swollen feet, made a
reference to some of Paul's teachings about not muzzling the Oxen that treads out the
grain. He then handed me a ten dollar bill. May God Bless Him!
The activity director was very helpful as well, in that she called her son who works for
the Parks & Recreation Department. Which led to a shower for me at their Community
Center.

Tuesday April 27 th ~
Ministered at the "Greenacres" ALF here in Ionia. Then next door to the "Greenacres
Independent Living Facility" for a sweet group.

Wednesday April 28 th ~
Continuing north, I stopped in Marion, Michigan where I found the "Pleasant Ridge"
RCF (residential care facility). Sang for 7 residents, 3 staff members and 3 visiting family
members. This type of facility is rarely advertised. Usually someone's house, sometimes
purpose built, operating along the lines of foster homes. Normally around ten residents,
they fall under different rules and regulations than larger facilities.

Thursday April 29 th ~
A bit further north in Mackinaw City, Michigan I was able to minister during lunch at
the "Cedarbrook Village". This is a Ramada Inn which has been converted into Senior
Independent Living, as well as an assisted living section.
As a started to sing, most seemed indifferent to the gospel music. However, as we
went along I noticed more and more folks starting to sing along. Then, a kind of Gruff old
codger, started crying and wiping his eye's. When the activity director said something to
him, he said "I'm not crying, it's the medication I'm taking".
By the time we finished there was an obvious Spiritual thoughtfulness in the air. And
afterwards during lunch, some staff members and residents were talking about starting
up a weekly service here. Praise God!

Friday April 30 th ~
Crossed the bridge spanning the Mackinaw Straits and turned west.

Saturday May 1 st ~
In the Michigan upper peninsula, I attended services at a "Seventh Day Adventist"
church in Escanaba. Shared their pot-luck lunch. Then crossed the border into Wisconsin.

Sunday May 2 nd ~
Attended services at the "Rosendale United Church of Christ". Then on to Elkhorn,
Wisconsin for a long/sweet visit with dear friends Cindy and Joy. Ended the day at a
Walmart near "Inspiration Ministries".

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
