Something To Pray About:
This is an amphitheater at "Inspiration Ministries" designed for wheelchairs.
Now Imagine our ministry in a position to help bring in Musicians from around the country to put on a
week long series of concerts for the many local nursing homes in this area.
With the residents of "Inspiration" acting as Host.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 18 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed
the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 68 Nursing Homes and 12 Churches.
To God Be The Glory!

Monday May 4 th ~
Up early saying goodbye to Bill & Shirley who gave me a room to sleep in and fed me
this past weekend. May God Bless Them!
Drove a couple of miles to Ankeny, Iowa and sang at the "Sunny View Care Center".
This is where Bill's mom lived for a time.
Published from the library in town.

Tuesday May 5 th ~
Headed northeast stopping in Grundy Center, Iowa where I was able to minister at the
"Grundy Care Center".

Wednesday May 6 th ~
Crossed into Wisconsin and stopped in Shullsburg where I was able to sing at the
"Shullsburg Home" residential care facility. As I was leaving, the assistant
administrator was waiting for me out by the van. She wanted me to know that her son
had passed on a month ago, and that this visit had given her comfort. To God Be The
Glory!
Continued east to "Inspiration Ministries" where I was provided a place to park and
shower while in the area. Attended mid-week services with a group who meets in this
facility's basement. Enjoyed the Honor of testifying about the ministry and sharing a
bunch of songs.

Thursday May 7 th ~
Ministered at the "Holton Manor" in Elkhorn. Dinner and card games with Cindy & Joy
(friends who led me to Inspiration Ministries three years ago). Then back to
"Inspiration Ministries" for the night.

Friday May 8 th ~
A group of cognitively challenged high school kids came to the camp for a half day of
fun. At the nature center they got to see and pet a snake, gecko, mouse and hamster.
Then, strapped into mountain climbing harnesses they were given very fast rides on a
"Zip Wire" strung between two trees. And with ropes and pulley, helped to do a tree
climb. Way High! Followed by hamburgers & hot dogs.
In the afternoon I'd been scheduled to sing for the residents here. This facility is
Christian based for people of all ages dealing with physical and cognitive disabilities.
Many have jobs in their "Workshop" and "Thrift Store". As well as off campus jobs.
These inspiring folks dearly love the Lord, and it is a Blessing to me, and an Honor, to
be able to spend time and share with them.
Finished a wonderful day having dinner at the Home of one of the staff members
(John). Enjoyed the company of him, his wife and their three small children.

Saturday May 9 th ~
A Day of Rest.

Sunday May 10 th ~
Attended the "True North" congregation meeting in the Elementary school in
Walworth, Wisconsin where I enjoyed the Honor of contributing to the worship.
A sweet group of Believers who have made it their goal to ease away from unyielding
structure in the worship service with a desire to open themselves to the movement of
the Holy Spirit. May God Bless Them!

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
