Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 15 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 53 Nursing Homes and 12 Churches. To God
Be The Glory!

Monday April 12 th ~
Ministered at the "Vista Woods Care Center" here in Ottumwa, Iowa. Staff was very
accommodating and encouraging.
Published the update from the library. Got a walk in at the park and showed at the
YMCA. Then back to Christ's Church where I've been able to park for the past few days.
Just after dark I was watching a movie in the van on the laptop with external USB
speakers, when I saw a teenager come out to the dumpster with a load of trash. There
was a scene in the movie of a man in a hospital screaming in Pain, just about the time she
lifted the lid on the dumpster. Well she must of heard it. Cause she let out a big scream
and took off running back into the church building.
For the next few minutes I kind of half expected the police to show up.

Tuesday April 13 th ~
Drove to Grinnell, Iowa and hooked up with friends there.

Wednesday April 14 th ~
Ministered at the "St. Francis" nursing home for a large group of residents. Then
during mid-week services out at the old country church "Westfield", I was given the
Honor of speaking to a group of teens and pre-teens. Seemed to go quiet well, they had a
lot of questions. At the end, the pastor had me sit on a stool while one at a time the kids
came up and laid hands on me and Blessed me. What an Awesome First experience.

Thursday April 15 th ~
Here in Grinnell I was able to sing at the "Mayflower" ALF in their "Carmen Center"
auditorium. Nice place with a stage and in-house sound system. These dear folks even
gave me a quest suite for the night. Sweet!

Friday April 16 th ~
Ministered at the "Windsor Manor" for a large group of residents. Then drove east
into Illinois.

Saturday April 17 th ~
    Day of Rest.

Sunday April 18 th ~
Stopped in Goodland, Indiana for morning services at the "Community Church". Then
on to Logansport, Indiana where the manager at the "Tall Sycamore Campground" gave
me a break on a place to park and shower. Five dollars a night, one third of normal.
M.G.B.H!
Made it to the Nazarene Church in time for evening services where the Pastor gave me
the Honor of contributing three songs. At the very end of the service he had a lady bring
out a collection plate and encouraged the flock to, in his words "Put in a dollar". Well
evidently most folks took him literally, cause there was a big stack of one dollar bills.
I got tickled about that, but there were so many folks that it came to over sixty one
bucks. M.G.B.T!

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
