Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 14 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 50 Nursing Homes and 7 Churches. To God
Be The Glory!
Monday April 6 th ~
Said my goodbye's to the folks at the "Refuge of Hope" here outside of Quitman,
Georgia. Then spent quite a bit of time in the library working on the update and such. Got
a late start leaving town. Made it a few miles down the road to a Wal-mart for the night.
Tuesday April 7 th ~
Made the turn north, and found the "Pierce County Nursing Home" in Blackshear,
Georgia. The A.D. (Becky) fit me right in, then treated me to lunch in their cafeteria. May
God Bless Her!
Wednesday April 8 th ~
Obtained a shower at a YMCA, then crossed the border into South Carolina and
ministered at the "Heritage Health Care" facility in Estill. A rather large group of residents,
and quite a few staff members sitting in, as they were able to pause from their work.
Thursday April 9 th ~
Ministered at the "Laurel Baye Healthcare" facility in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
Friday April 10 th ~
Sang for two staff members and five residents at a "Residential Care" home in
Orangeburg. Then drove to West Columbia and attended a Revival Meeting at the "Lion
of Judah Worship Center" .
Saturday April 11 th ~
Enjoyed an awesome Thunder & Lightning Show last night.
Spent the morning in a library working on the laptop. Then drove to Camden, South
Carolina to a park where I did some sewing on a curtain.
The Walmart I parked at was a bit noisy. Had to move the van once during the night due
to a bunch of kid's partying near me.
Sunday April 12 th ~
Drove to Chester, South Carolina and attended worship services at the "Fountain of Life
Church of God". Met David & Amy! Awesome Family in Christ. They invited me to their
house for Easter Dinner, provided a place to park and shower, made a monetary donation
to the ministry, and gave me a studio microphone with mixer for recording. Not to
mention the wonderful fellowship. May God Bless This Beautiful Family.
And So Begins Another Week.
