Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 11 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 40 Nursing Homes and 8 Churches. To God
Be The Glory!
Monday March 15 th ~
Spent the day with dear friends David, Amy & Gaby here in Chester, South Carolina.
Published the update from their home.
Tuesday March 16 th ~
Ministered at the nursing home attached to the hospital here in Chester during their
monthly birthday party. Kind of noisy at first. However, the last twenty minutes folks
settled down and it turned into some quiet worship.
Back at the house, we were able to record David's awesome guitar playing on one of
the songs. This is a man who in the past has contributed his talents to recordings for
Hank Williams, Jr and Johnny Paycheck to name a few. Rather humbling to get him on
one of my songs.
Wednesday March 17 th ~
Said my goodbye's to this dear family. Then drove north to York, South Carolina and
ministered at the "Yorktown Village" before their St. Patrick's Day Party.
Thursday March 18 th ~
Crossed into North Carolina. As I climbed into the mountain range I followed the
hospital signs in Blowing Rock to their extended care facility where I was able to minister
for about fifteen folks. An old-timer, one of the residents, gave me one of the neatest
compliments I've ever received. Lifted my spirits.
Friday March 19 th ~
Somehow, during the night, I wrenched my back. Minor difficulty sleeping, and a bit
painful this morning. Took it easy today crossing the corner of Virginia a little ways and
stopped early.
Saturday March 20 th ~
Feeling better. Took another easy day, crossing on into West Virginia to the "Promise
Christian Fellowship" in Gilbert. One of the members came by to clean the building, and
as in previous years offered the use of their empty modular home (Parsonage) next door.
M.G.B.H!
Sunday March 21 st ~
Attended worship services here where I enjoyed the Honor of contributing a song.
Spent the rest of this rainy afternoon in the Parsonage reading and working on the laptop.
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Yours In Christ, Larry
