Nursing Home Music Ministry
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 8 week since beginning this years mission. So far we've
enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 27 Nursing Homes and
4 Churches. To God Be The Glory!

Monday February 23 rd ~
Mom's Funeral was today. There was a service at the funeral home. Then a
procession to the cemetery. A grave side service where her six college age
grandsons were Pallbearers.
There was a meal (reception) back at the White House for about a hundred or
so.
The "White House" is an older, high ceilinged house purchased many years
ago by one of my aunts to be used for reunions, weddings, funerals, etc.
When all was said and done, I drove to the next town and spent the late
afternoon in a park in solitude. I'm afraid I lost control of my emotions
numerous times this day.

Tuesday February 24 th ~
Felt the need to get back on the horse (emotionally speaking). So, in
Lockhart, Texas I sang at the "Methodist Golden Age Home" for a lovely little
group. It went very well. Although I felt and sang with emotion, I was able to
control them and minister to and for the folks.

Wednesday February 25 th ~
Spent some time yesterday and today in Austin, Texas with some Brothers &
Sister in Christ.

Thursday February 26 th ~
More time with family & friends.

Friday February 27 th ~
Sang at the "West Oaks Rehab & Healthcare Center" here in Austin, Texas

Saturday February 28 th ~
Spent the day with a Dear Sister in Christ.

Sunday March 1 st ~
Attended worship services at the "Rivers of Living Water" church where I
enjoyed the Honor of contributing a Special. Then in the afternoon, joined the
pastor and an elder to help minister at the "Englewood Estates" retirement
community.

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
