Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 39 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 153 Nursing Homes and 33 Churches. To
God Be The Glory!
Monday September 22 nd ~
Published the update from Randy & Stacey's house here in Rawlins, Wyoming. Then
spent the rest of the day setting up the recording equipment in their quite basement
room where Randy contributed some harmonica tracts to one of the songs.
Tuesday September 23 rd ~
Laid down some foundation tracts and Randy's harmonica tracts on another song.
Then ministered in the extended care unit of the hospital for seven residents and four
staff members.
Wednesday September 24 th ~
Sang at "South Central Wyoming Healthcare & Rehabilitation" for a large group
including some staff members. Several of these went out of their way to thank me for
the message.
Back at Randy & Stacey's I said my goodbye's and drove to Laramie where I arranged
to play in three facilities in the next two days.
While taking a walk around the park, two mormons approached me. I encouraged them
to put their faith in Jesus.
Thursday September 25 th ~
Ministered at the "Springwind" assisted living facility.
Got a shower at the Fairgrounds.
Then sang for a small group at the "Laramie Care Center".
Friday September 26 th ~
Found a website geared to help those in the Mormon faith struggling with the validity
of the Book of Mormon and the inconsistencies between it and the Holy Bible.
Ministered at a facility here in Laramie with one of the more interesting names I've run
across.
"Invinis Home For Aged Ladies". A very active, spiritual group. We enjoyed an uplifting
time together.
Saturday September 27 th ~
Drove to the Pine Bluff rest area at the border of Wyoming and Nebraska where I got
in a long, strenuous hike on the nature trails. Then on into Nebraska and ministered a
the "Kimball County Manor". Afterwards, like last year, the charge nurse (Nancy)
allowed me the use of their shower facilities.
Sunday September 28 th ~
Attended worship services at the "Calvary Baptist Church" in Sidney, Nebraska where
I enjoyed the Honor of contributing a couple of songs.
Joined Richard (the pastor) to minister services at the extended care unit of the
hospital. Then over to the "Golden Living" nursing home.
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Yours In Christ, Larry
Post Scrip:
Many of you may remember a year ago in Oakland, California I had to go into the
emergency
room of a hospital to take care of a nasty staff infection.
Praise God the funds were available this past week to pay that $600 bill. With a bit left
over for gas, food and medicine. Our ministry is again Debt Free! To God Be The
Glory!
