The Green Family Fourth of July BBQ
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 27 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed
the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 99 Nursing Homes and 20
Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday June 30 th ~
Published from the library here in Newport, Oregon. Then ministered at the
"Oceanview" assisted living facility during lunch for a rather large crowd. Most of
whom seemed appreciative. Worked out fairly well considering, no sound system.
Tuesday July 1 st ~
The husband and wife Dental team (Mike & Anne) who last week gave me a free
exam and prescription for antibiotics, called early this morning offering to pull the
tooth for free. May God Bless Them!
Anne had to drill out some infection which had spread into the bone. But with the
tooth out I can now start to heal.
I want to thank you all for your prayers on this matter.
Wednesday July 2 nd ~
The Dentist (Anne) wanted to do a post-opp exam. She had to leave a small root tip
embedded in the bone because it was too near the sinus cavity. She wanted to
view another x-ray of it after the surgery. Said it looked fine and hopefully I won't
have a future problem with it. Something To Pray About!
Thursday July 3 rd ~
Drove to Junction City, Oregon and hooked up with Al & Karolynk who have
graciously given me the use of their Fifth Wheel RV to work on laptop projects
while I'm healing up from the oral surgery. May God Bless Them!
Friday July 4 th ~
Attended my second annual Green Family 4th of July BBQ. A nice time of
fellowship, but unable to sing like last year due to the recent oral surgery.
Saturday July 5 th ~
Attended a Men's Breakfast Bible Study at a locale restaurant. Then the rest of the
day worked on laptop projects in the Fifth Wheel.
Sunday July 6 th ~
Attended the Bethany Church in Franklin, then a long nap (aftermath from the oral
surgery causing some nagging pain). Attended evening services then to bed early.
And So Begins Another Week.
