Nursing Home Music Ministry
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 23 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed
the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 88 Nursing Homes and 19
Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday June 2 nd ~
Published the update from the "Gospel Mt. Assembly of God" here in Thompson
Falls, Montana. Then the pastor (Charlie) and a singer (Julia) joined me at the
"Cherry Hill" residential care home where we sang for five residents. One dear lady
had a Dobro she pulled out, playing along with us a good part of the time.
Tuesday June 3 rd ~
Loaded up. Showered up. Visited some with Charlie & Julia saying my goodbye's.
Crossed the border into Idaho to Bonners Ferry where I ministered at "The
Rystorium" assisted living facility.
Obtained permission to park at the Assembly of God church just outside of town.
One of the members (Travis) stopped by to check on me. Invited me down the
street to a men's group get-together where I enjoyed a grilled steak and an
opportunity to share with the guys.
When he took me back to the church building, he gave me a little bitty envelope he
pulled out of his wallet saying "I've been carrying this around for some time, asking
the Lord to let me know when and what to do with it". It turned out to contain a
sweet monetary gift for the ministry.
May God Bless Him!
Wednesday June 4 th ~
Ministered in the extended care wing of the hospital here in Bonners Ferry for
about twenty folks. Then drove on to Sandpoint, Idaho.
Thursday June 5 th ~
Sang at the "Evergreen" ALF here in Sandpoint for a small group of folks. While
going around shaking hands and thanking folks for listening, one dear lady
exclaimed "Your kind of noisy".
Several near by, while laughing about that comment, assured me it was a good
noise.
Friday June 6 th ~
Sang during lunchtime at the "Life Care Center of Sandpoint". Although they have
a stage in this very large dinning room, there is no sound system. So I walked
around the tables staying mostly in the middle of the room. The staff kept the
ambient noise to a minimum, so it worked out okay.
Saturday June 7 th ~
A Cold Rainy Day! Drove south down through the northern Idaho mountains into
Lewiston, Idaho to their Walmart for the night.
Sunday June 8 th ~
Cut across the southeast corner of Washington State stopping for worship
services at the "Harvest Christian Center" in Dayton, Washington. Then continued
on into Oregon to Pendelton for the night.
Something to Pray about: An abscessed tooth has flared up this past week and the
back started giving me trouble today.

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
