Nursing Home Music Ministry

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 20 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 79 Nursing Homes and 17 Churches. To
God Be The Glory!

What a wonderful family in Christ. Loving, Giving, Caring, Hospitable. It's been a
privilege getting to know them better over the past few days. Looking forward to an
eternal relationship.
Performed an oil change on the van here at the house. Now at 182,000 miles. Showered
up, said goodbye's, and started west.

Ministered at the "Rice Care Center" in Willmar, Minnesota for a large group of folks.
Then spent some time in a library working on the laptop.

Got a shower at the Y.M.C.A. in town. Then over to "Bethesda Heritage Center" where I
sang four songs for a group before their Rosary, then to the Third Floor for a larger
group and longer session.
Friday May 16 th ~
Drove to Halstad, Minnesota and sang at the "Halstad Living Center" for an appreciative
group of staff and residents. Then crossed the border into North Dakota to Devils Lake.
Saturday May 17 th ~
Continued west to Rugby, North Dakota and sang at the "Haaland House". The Chaplain
who happened to be there, invited me to minister in his church on Sunday. He also
provided a place to park, shower, do laundry and dinner. May God Bless Him!
Since his wife is in an invalid state, and unable to attend church, I was able to sing
some songs for her.
Sunday May 18 th ~
Attended the early worship service at the "North Prairie Free Lutheran Church" where I
enjoyed the opportunity to minister in song.
Then drove seven miles to the "Leeds Free Lutheran Church" where the Pastor had
arranged for me to do a Special.
Continued west eighty miles to Minot, North Dakota where I spent a few hours exploring
their Zoo. Then attended the "Lighthouse Church" where I was given the privilege of
singing a couple of songs.
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Yours In Christ, Larry
