Nursing Home Music Ministry
Flooding behind Larry & Kelly's house in Alton, Missouri
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 15 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed
the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 55 Nursing Homes and 11
Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday April 7 th ~
Looks like I've picked up a nasty cold. Soar throat, runny nose, sneezing, achy &
nauseous. Have to stay out of nursing homes till this passes.
Was able to get off the newsletter here in western Kentucky. Then rested in a park
before going to Wal-Mart for the night.
Tuesday April 8 th ~
Drove thirty miles to a relatively quite place and took more over the counter
medicine.
Wednesday April 9 th ~
Crossed the border into Missouri and dropped in on some old friends Kelley &
Larry. Enjoyed a nice visit and wonderful dinner.
Thursday April 10 th ~
Rain, thunder and lightning all night and most of the morning. With flooded roads
all around, decided to stay put another day. Some of the cold symptoms have
eased up. But still dealing with considerable nausea.
Friday April 11 th ~
Sunshiny day. Said goodbye's to Larry & Kelley and drove to Mansfield, Missouri.
said hi to friends Sandy & Bill. Parked in their campground. Still feeling nauseous.
Saturday April 12 th ~
Light snow all day. Spent the day resting. Feeling a little better.
Sunday April 13 th ~
Attended morning worship services at the Baptist Church in MaComb where I
enjoyed the Honor of contributing a song. Blessed with a lunch fellowship with the
pastors family. Then at evening services, once again was given the opportunity to
sing a Special.
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Yours In Christ, Larry
