Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 13 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 50 Nursing Homes and 8 Churches. To God
Be The Glory!

Another First Experience! While waiting for the library to open, I stopped at the Police
Station here in Camden, South Carolina for directions to a shower. They not only allowed
me to use theirs, but even purchased one of the CD's. May God Bless Them!
Spent several hours in the library publishing, then over to the "Morningside" assisted
living facility where I enjoyed singing for a lovely group of folks.
Tuesday March 25 th ~
Ministered at the "Springdale" nursing home here in Camden. A rather large facility. They
had me in a big open area with a noisy nurses station nearby. Staff members were talking
louder than I was singing. So after a few songs I walked over and asked the girls if they
could speak more softly while we were having this activity. By the look on their faces,
they didn't much appreciate that. But the residents did.
Wednesday March 26 th ~
Sang at the "Pinedale" ALF here in Camden. Then back on the road, got a shower at a
campground, then on to a Wal-Mart for the night.
Thursday March 27 th ~
Sang at the "Chesterfield Convalescent Center" in Cheraw, South Carolina. Then crossed
the border into North Carolina and ministered at the "Meadowview Terrace" in
Wadesboro for a lovely group of folks.
Friday March 28 th ~
Sang at the "Heritage Hills Living Center" here in Wadesboro, then over to the city park
for a two mile walk.
The maintenance department has offices in the building next to the swimming pool. And
although the pool is not due to open for two months, both yesterday and today they
allowed me to shower there. May God Bless Them!
Back at the Wal-Mart, just after midnight, I was woken by some kids partying about
twenty feet away. One of them evidently ran over and loudly rapped on my window. When
I came out and confronted them, they sheepishly denied it. I politely asked them to keep it
down and went back to bed. They quickly left. But as I lay there calming down, it hit me
that I'd missed an opportunity to share the Gospel with some kids who desperately
needed some light in their lives.
I hope to be better prepared next time.
Saturday March 29 th ~
Drove north a bit. The day turned cold, wet and rainy. Parked early at a Wal-Mart and did
some reading.
Sunday March 31 st ~
As I was driving north looking for a church to attend, I spotted a nursing home "Davie
Place" up a hill back off the highway. Turned around and as I got close I realized I'd
ministered there two years ago.
Turns out their Sunday service had been cancelled due to illness of the Pastor. They
enthusiastically agreed to let me lead worship, so the folks got to have church. Praise
God!
Went next door to "The Wesleyan Church" in time for their worship service where I
enjoyed the Honor of contributing a song. Was in invited afterwards to the parsonage for
lunch and some fellowship. May God Bless Them!

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry

P.S. Check out this song for the 4 th CD.
