"Community Care Center of Crockett"
"Davy Crockett National Forest"
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 9 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've
enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 26 Nursing Homes and
5 Churches. To God Be The Glory!

Published from the library in Madisonville, Texas. Received a timely gift
through the website donation button from dear folks in the northwest. May
God Bless Them!
Was able to minister just down the street at the "Riverwood Healthcare &
Rehab" facility. A very enthusiastic activity director sang backup and did some
rhythm clapping which added quite a bit to our time together.

In Crockett, Texas I ministered at the "Community Care Center of Crockett" for
a lovely group of ethnically diverse residents who joyfully sang along, which
lifted my spirits as well as theirs.
Decided to spend ten bucks to park in the "Mission Tejas State Park" located
in the "Davy Crockett National Forest". Mainly for a shower, but did some
hiking also.
Wednesday February 27 th ~
Ministered at the "Magnolia Court Assisted Living & Memory Care" facility in
Nacogdoches, Texas. An ole timer stood with me singing melody with a nice
tenor voice. Special!
Back on the road, spotted smoke coming from a barbeque grill surrounded by
some men at the "Holly Spring Baptist Church" in Garrison, Texas. Stopped
and got invited to have a hamburger with them before services. Ended up
parking there overnight with a place to plug in the heater. May God Bless
Them!

Was able to get a shower at the church building, then drove into town to the
"Garrison Nursing Home". A very small, crowded, older facility. Folks really
got into the gospel songs. Thankfully their building a new larger facility which
they should be in by next year.
Crossed the border into Louisiana to a three dollar a night national forest
campground. Rare!

Got in an early morning exercise walk around "Gum Springs". Then drove into
Winnfield, Louisiana to the "Winnfield Nursing & Rehab Center". Standing next
to the administrator when I asked to sing, turned out to be the Chaplin. He
immediately told me they were ten minutes away from starting a services, and
I was welcome to come and take over.
In the Chapel was a dear lady (Nancy) in a mobile bed who remembered me
from two years ago when I was here last. The Chaplin asked her to lead a
prayer to get started. Among other things she Blessed me and the ministry.
May God Bless Her!
It was a great time. Lots of singing along, hand clapping. Hallelujah's and
Amen's.

Crossed the border into Mississippi and spent several hours in a library
working on the website. Then continued east to the "Homochitto National
Forest Clear Springs Campground" where I could get a shower before church
tomorrow.
Sunday March 2 nd ~
Attended morning worship services at the "Lucien Baptist Church" where I
enjoyed the Honor of contributing a Special. The Pastor treated me to lunch
and fellowship at their home, and then at evening services I again had the
privilege of singing a few songs.
This small congregation put together a sweet love offering for the ministry.
May God Bless Them!
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Yours In Christ, Larry
