Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 8 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've
enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 21 Nursing Homes and
4 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday February 18 th ~
At the "Rivers of Living Water" church in Austin, Texas I was able to publish the
update. Then enjoyed a long lunch with a dear Brother in Christ (William).
Spent several hours at a library working on the CD page of the website, then
attended Barb's Home Group/Pot Luck Dinner/Worship Service/Prayer Meeting
out at Lakeway.
Tuesday February 19 th ~
More laptop work.
Wednesday February 20 th ~
Enjoyed a breakfast and fellowship with a dear Brother in Christ, did some
laptop work, enjoyed dinner with a dear Sister in Christ, then attended mid-week
services at "Cathedral of Praise".
Thursday February 21 st ~
Enjoyed a goodbye breakfast with Pastor Carl who made sure my gas tank was
topped off. May God Bless Him!
Enjoyed a hit-the-road lunch with my dear Brother in Christ, George. A couple
of hours of nice fellowship. Then drove to Yoakum, Texas.
Friday February 22 nd ~
Enjoyed a visit with my mom while assembling CD's at the kitchen table. Along
about mid-afternoon I had the privilege of singing during the Ice Cream Social at
the "Stevens Healthcare & Rehab Center". Then to the Alzheimer's Unit for a bit.
The sinus cavity problem held up fairly well with very little pain.
Saturday February 23 rd ~
Said my goodbyes and went down the road to Ezzelle, Texas to a going away
party for one of my cousins who is returning to Iraq.
A wonderful day of fellowship & feasting. But mostly just sitting around singing
Four Part Harmony out of hymn books. Sweet!
Sunday February 24 th ~
Attended worship services at the "Hallettsville Church of Christ where among
other things, we prayed for the Salvation of an unbelieving friend (Bubba) who
is on his death bed in Oregon. Please pray with us.
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
