Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 6 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've
enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 20 Nursing Homes
and 4 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday February 4 th ~
Published from the library here in Deming, New Mexico. Then ministered at
the "Mimbres Care & Rehab Center" which is attached to the hospital. A
lady who was upset at first with the AD for turning off the TV, read a book
for a while. But by the end, was clapping, tapping her feet, and blowing
kisses. Bless Her Heart!
Tuesday February 5 th ~
Sang at the "Willow Manor" ALF where the Praise & Worship leader
(Patty) from the church I'm parked at contributed several songs on the
piano.
Wednesday February 6 th ~
Ministered at the "BeeHive Home" ALF here in Deming where I was
encouraged to find out that their still listening to the CD I left here last year.
Worked on the laptop all afternoon, then attended mid-week services at
the "Bethel Baptist Church" where I enjoyed the Honor of contributing a
couple of songs.
Thursday February 7 th ~
Showered up, said my goodbye's to the staff at the church, and hit the
road. Crossed the border into Texas and parked for the night at the
Community Christian Shelter in Van Horn where I was treated to an
evening meal. May God Bless Them!
Friday February 8 th ~
Continued east to Fort Stockton, Texas where I sang at the "Fort Stockton
Nursing Center" for a sweet group of folks.
Saturday February 9 th ~
Spent the day driving across west Texas to Kerrville.
Sunday February 10 th ~
Attended worship services at the "Trinity Church" in Centerpoint, Texas.
The pastor (Don) invited me up to join the Praise Team, and then sing a
three song Special before the sermon (they kept saying "One more" which
obviously lifted my spirits). He also encouraged the flock to help support
the ministry if they felt led, which they did. May God Bless Them!
Ten miles further, in Comfort, Texas I was able to minister at "Trinity
Mission Health & Rehab" for a lovely group of folks, then on down the
road, just outside Fredericksburg, Texas to a rest area for the night.

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry

P.S. I need to Repent! Yesterday as I was leaving Wal-Mart, the Greeter
asked to see the receipt from my purchases. This made me angry. After
thinking about it overnight I realized my Pride and self-righteousness
caused this poor underpaid girl (who was only doing her job) to feel
miserable. May God Forgive Me.
