The Summit at Lakeway
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 48 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've
enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 185 Nursing Homes and
41 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday November 24 th ~
Drove to north Austin for breakfast and a day of fellowship with David & Mary
(the ones who helped me upgrade the laptop last year). Then swung northwest
to Lakeway for Barbara's Home Group / Pot Luck Dinner / Worship Service /
Prayer Meeting.
You may remember that two weeks ago Barb had a nasty fall, breaking her wrist
and hip. Well she's doing great, and amazingly has so far gotten by with no pain
medicine. Praise God!
Tuesday November 25 th ~
Ministered at "The Summit at Lakeway". First in the main lobby, then over in the
Alzheimer's Unit.
Wednesday November 26 th ~
Settled into Sister Sarah's house for another round of "House Sitting" while
she's out of town for the week.
Thursday November 27 th ~
Happy Thanksgiving Day!
Friday November 28 th ~
Spent the day burning CD's and printing jacket covers for the ministry.
Saturday November 29 th ~
Finished assembling CD's for the ministry.
Sunday November 30 th ~
Attended worship services at "Jubilee Christian Center", then over to
"Bannockburn Baptist Church" for their Singles Class.
And So Begins Another Week.
