Nursing Home Music Ministry
Thanksgiving 2008
My little sister with her kids.

The littlest one makes me a
"Great Uncle".
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 47 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed
the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 184 Nursing Homes and 41
Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday November 17 th  ~
Joined pastor Carl & Elders for breakfast and fellowship, published the update
from one of the libraries here in Austin, then over to Sister Sarah's to house sit for
a few days while she's out of town.
Tuesday November 18 th ~
Took the day off.
Wednesday November 19 th ~
Another day of rest. And Praise God, the swelling in my leg has gone down
considerably.
Thursday November 20 th ~
Able to get in a little walk. Some time on the laptop. Otherwise, took it easy today.
Friday November 21 st ~
Ministered at "The Park at Beckett Meadows" for a rather large group of residents.
A sweet time with many singing along and lots of clappin', toe tappin' and smiles.
Nice!
Saturday November 22 nd ~
Joined my littlest sister (Janet) and her brood for their early Thanksgiving Dinner.
Delicious! A wonderful time with family. Then attended worship services at "Angels
Recovery" church where I enjoyed the Honor of contributing a couple of songs.
Sunday November 23 rd ~
Attended worship services at the "Cathedral of Praise" church where I got lots of
Hugs from old friends. Then ministered a the "Englewood Estates" with a couple of
brothers from the "Rivers" church.
Afterwards, one of the residents, Penelope (an awesome Sister in Christ) had us
accompany her to the room of her friend who is close to departing this life. We
prayed and sang "Amazing Grace". At the end of the song, she whispered to her
granddaughter who was kneeling by her side, one word. COOL!

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
