Nursing Home Music Ministry
"Grace Living Center"
Woodward, Oklahoma
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 43 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed
the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 172 Nursing Homes and 38
Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday October 20 th ~
Here in Perryton, Texas I was able to get a shower at the Parsonage of the church I
attended yesterday. Then published from the library.
While asking if I could check out a DVD at the library, a young lady offered to put it
on her card. Humbled me to be trusted so.
Ministered at "The Seasons" assisted living facility here in town. The A.D. (Gail)
was very encouraging and sent me off with a sack lunch.
May God Bless These Folks!
Tuesday October 21 st ~
Crossed back over into Oklahoma and sang at the "Grace Living Center" in
Woodward.
Wednesday October 22 nd ~
Cold Front came through last night. Woke up to a cold/windy/rainy day. Ministered
at the "Moorland Heritage Manor", then continued east to a Wal-Mart for the night.
Thursday October 23 rd ~
Stopped in Hennessey, Oklahoma and sang at their "Care Center".
Got a shower at the Y.M.C.A. in Stillwater, OK.
Further east I ran across a young man carrying a cross down the highway. Pulled
over and visited a minute. Talk about ruffin' it! This Brother is out there in the cold
wind carrying a guitar on his back, a cross on his shoulder, with a wheel on the
end and a backpack strapped to it.
Proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a visual way for all to see. May God
Bless Him!
Friday October 24 th ~
Sang at the "Avonlea Cottage" ALF in Seminole, Oklahoma for eleven residents,
staff and guest. Then continued east to Hartford, Arkansas where the Pastor
(Marshal) of the "Assembly of God" church offered the use of an apartment they
own across the street. May God Bless Him!
Saturday October 25 th ~
Sat up the equipment and started working on recordings.
Sunday October 26 th ~
Attended church across the street where Marshal provided the opportunity to
contribute some songs during the service.
Evening service was a scheduled concert-like affair with a visiting group of
musicians. Halfway through the evening they took a break while an offering was
being taken up for them. At which time I was given the Honor of singing a solo
"Amazing Grace".

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
