Barbara's Monday Night "Home Group / Pot Luck Dinner / Worship Service / Prayer Meeting"
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
To date, (since beginning this ministry on August 17, 2004), we have enjoyed the
Honor of ministering in 620 Nursing Homes and 85 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
It has now been 1 week since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 1 nursing home. Praise God!
Monday December 31 st ~
Got in an exercise walk, then published the update from the "Rivers of Living Water"
church. Did another walk, then headed out to Lakeway for Barbara's Home Group /
Pot Luck Dinner / Worship Service / Prayer Meeting.
Back to Rivers in time for the Fireworks, ushering in the New Year at midnight.
Tuesday January 1 st ~
Enjoyed a New Years Day meal with members of the Rivers church. Turkey &
Dressing, Black Eyed Peas & Cabbage, and Banana Pudd'in. YUM!
Back at the church, finished the Remix on the 3rd CD getting the gain levels
appropriate for digital audio. Making it a little more "Easy Listening".
Wednesday January 2 nd ~
A wonderful day of Fellowship with a dear Brother in Christ, while he installed a
larger Hard Drive, Battery and faster USB Card on our ministry's laptop. May God
Bless Him!
Then attended mid-week services at Jubilee Christian Center.
Thursday January 3 rd ~
More work on the laptop, then to the M.A.P. registration office where I got qualified
for the program to get some teeth looked at.
Friday January 4 th ~
Down to the Dental office by 7:30 am. Signed up on standby and got in by 8:30 am
for x-ray's and cleaning. The Dentist's exam showed only two fillings needed. Praise
God!
Back to Rivers for more work on the laptop.
Saturday January 5 th ~
Attended the early morning Bible Study / Fellowship Breakfast at Rivers. Then spent
the rest of the day dismantling the recording studio and organizing the van in
preparation for getting back on the road.
Sunday January 6 th ~
Attended the early worship service at Jubilee, then over to the Rivers church. Lunch
with Roy and family, then to "Englewood Estates" to help with the afternoon service.
Dinner with dear sister Sarah, then back to Rivers for the night.
And So Begins Another Week.
