Nursing Home Music Ministry
"Casa Maria Care Center" Roswell, New Mexico
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 3 weeks since beginning this years mission.
So far we've enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in
song with 10 Nursing Homes and 1 Church. To God Be The
Glory!
Monday January 14 th ~
Published the Update from the library in Big Spring, Texas. On
the way out of town, spotted the "Lamun-Lusk-Sanchez Texas
State Veterans Home". Was allowed to sing for a wonderful
group of folks. The Spirit was moving. Several times it got real
quite and I could feel the chills go up my spine.
Continued west and crossed the border into New Mexico to a
Wal-Mart for the night.
Tuesday January 15 th ~
In Artesia, New Mexico I was able to get a shower at a Baptist
Life Center. Then ministered at the "Good Samaritan of
Artesia".
Wednesday January 16 th ~
Drove to Roswell, New Mexico and sang at the "Casa Maria
Health Care Center" mid-morning. Then after lunch ministered
at the "Sunset Villa Care Center" where a dear lady sang along
the whole time with a Beautiful Dove-like Cooing. One of the
most unusual and lovely forms of "Making a Joyful Noise" I've
ever heard.
In the late afternoon while out for a walk I went into a tall office
building and climbed twelve flights of stairs. A good workout
that left me Huff' in and a Puff' in with wobbly legs.
Attended mid-week services at the "Trinity House of Praise"
where I was allowed to park and plug in an extension cord to
heat the van on this cold 14 degree night. May God Bless
Them!
Thursday January 17 th ~
Sang at the "Mission Arch Care Center" here in Roswell. Then
spent several hours in the library working on the laptop. And
ended up over at members of the church for a shower and
dinner. May god Bless Them!
Friday January 18 th ~
Spent the day driving across the Capitan Mountains to
Magdalena, New Mexico for a sweet reunion with a Dear family
in Christ. Kenny, Laurie, Shyann, Jace and Nizhoni.
Saturday January 19 th ~
Joined the family at the kid's basketball games. Shyann
injured her ankle, so much of the day was spent at the
hospital waiting on x-rays. Gave us time for lots of fellowship.
On yea, found out this Sponge Bob watch' in family has taken
to calling me Larry Boy.
And yes, my legs still hurt from climbing those stairs.
Sunday January 20 th ~
Attended worship services at the Baptist church in Datil, New
Mexico where I enjoyed singing a duet with Laurie (Above All)
and had the Honor of contributing some more songs. These
dear folks took up a Love Offering for our ministry, and we
had a sweet time of fellowship during their pot-luck lunch
afterwards.
Back at Kenny & Laurie's I installed the recording program on
their laptop and showed 'em what I know about operating it.
Laurie plays a twelve string guitar and has a beautiful singing
voice. She's written a number of original songs, and already
produced one CD in the past at a friends home recording
studio. Lord Willing she'll get more of her songs recorded with
these new tools.

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
