Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 34 weeks since beginning this years ministry. So far we've
had the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 139 Nursing Homes
and 24 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday August 20 th ~
Ministered at the "Grandview Rehab & Specialty Care" facility for a sweet
group of folks. Debra (the AD) treated me to lunch from their cafeteria. May
God Bless Her!
Then published the update from the Library. While in town, picked up
printer-ink and paper to create new ministry cards.
Tuesday August 21 st ~
Did more work on the computer; ministry cards & recordings. Still having
static problems in the laptop's sound card.
Attended evening worship services at the Cowboy Church.
Wednesday August 22 nd ~
Sang at the "Alpine Springs" ALF in Eugene. Several residents were also
present at the Singspiration this past Sunday. So it was kind of like a
reunion.
Bit the Bullet: And dished out Fifty Bucks at a computer store for an "Audio
Device" which plugs into the USB port of the laptop. It bi-passes the built in
sound card that I've been having problems with. Back out at the garage
studio, I installed the program and hooked up the device. So far, looks like
it's solved the static problem. Praise God!
Over to Mike & Jean's for a couple of hours, then to bed early.
Thursday August 23 rd ~
Spent the day recording. New Hardware is working great. Recorded tracks
for three songs.
Friday August 24 th ~
Recorded a guitar track for one of the songs, then had lunch with Debra's
family (from N.H.) in Monroe. Stopped at Al & Karolyn's garden on the way
back. They had asked me to Raid it while their on vacation. Hauled off
zucchini, cucumbers, green beans, tomatoes & corn. Yum!
Saturday August 25 th ~
Attended the 7:30 am bible study in town. Sure have enjoyed meeting with
these dear folks for breakfast, reading the word, prayer and just plain good
'ole Christian Fellowship.
Picked up supplies, checked email, then back out to Rusty's for some more
recording work.
Sunday August 26 th ~
Attended morning worship services at the Open Bible Church in Elmira
where I was given the Honor of contributing a song (In The Sweet By & By)
in the first service, and another (When The Saints Go Marching In) during
the second service. Both times the Pastor (Gordon) encouraged me to
share a bit about our ministry. Afterwards he treated several of us to lunch
at a Mexican Restaurant. Yum!
Attended evening worship services at the Bethany Community Church in
Franklin where I said my goodbyes to the folks in anticipation of getting
back on the road Friday.

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
