This sweet lady sang just about every song with me here at "Terpening Terrace"
Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 32 weeks since beginning this years ministry. So far
we've had the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 136 Nursing
Homes and 23 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday August 6 th ~
Published the update from Jean's office, then back out to Rusty's for
more recording, editing and mixing.
Tuesday August 7 th ~
Today a dear friend (wishing to remain anonymous) presented a cell
phone to our ministry. May God Bless Them!
Sang at the "Terpening Terrace" ALF here in Eugene for a sweet group
of folks.
Wednesday August 8 th ~
Laundry Day. Also recorded seven tracks for another song. Then over
to Mike & Jean's ping pong / back yard music party where I sang
several songs including "Jesus Loves Me" and "When The Saints Go
Marching In".
Thursday August 9 th ~
Mechanic Day. Did a tune-up on the van replacing spark plugs / wires,
cap and rotor. Wrestled with one of the plugs for hours, including
raising the van up on blocks, trying from underneath. No go, simply
couldn't reach it. Had to leave that one old spark plug in. Considered
myself Blessed just to be able to get the new spark plug Wire back on it.
Friday August 10 th ~
Did a two mile walk. Then worked on a new song the Lord has given me
with the working title of "I Wanna Thank Ya".
Saturday August 11 th ~
Attended an early morning bible study at a restaurant in town. Then out
to Rusty's to do some more editing.
Sunday August 12 th ~
Awoke rather early and spent a couple of hours writing down a fun little
Christian Rap song the Lord has given me, with the working title of "The
Baptist John".
Then attended morning worship services at the "Santa Clara Church of
Christ". This is one of the C of C's which allow instrumental music in the
song service.
Attended evening worship services at the "Franklin Community Church"
where I enjoyed the Honor of contributing some songs.
And So Begins Another Week.
