"Grandview Rehab & Specialty Care" Junction City, Oregon
Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 26 weeks since beginning this years ministry. So far we've
had the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 118 Nursing Homes and 19
Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday June 25 th ~
Published the update from the Library here in Newport, Oregon. Then over to
a car dealer to get a free oil change offered by a brother in Christ at church
yesterday. M.G.B.H!
In the afternoon, ministered at the "Newport Rehab & Specialty Care" facility.
We enjoyed some Amen's, Hallelujah's, and lots of clapping. It went very well.
Tuesday June 26 th ~
Ministered at the "Spencer House" ALF in South Beach, Oregon just across a
bridge from Newport. This is a nice facility down to four residents, due to
canceling Medicare/Medicaid. However, Dave & Robin came along which
helped tremendously. They both sang along and Robin played a Beautiful
song on the piano. M.G.B.T!
Wednesday June 27 th ~
Drove to Eugene, Oregon where I spent the afternoon lining up nursing homes
for next week. Then over to Mike & Jean's (old friends) for a party, where I got
to see more (old friends) which I haven't seen in a year. Sweet!
Thursday June 28 th ~
Spent the day lining up more nursing homes and visiting with old friends.
Friday June 29 th ~
Ministered at the "Grandview Rehab & Specialty Care" facility in Junction City,
Oregon which is just outside of Eugene. We had a great little turnout. Several
folks got emotional at times. One lady told me she no longer fears death and
looks forward to facing the Lord. All in all a very moving experience.
Saturday June 30 th ~
Visited some friends and worked on the computer.
Sunday July 1 st ~
Attended worship services at the "Bethany Church of Franklin" where I had
the privilege of strumming along with a young man (Seth) who was leading
the song service. Also enjoyed the Honor of contributing a Special.
Back in Eugene, joined up with Mike, Jean & Marsha at their place for a
gourmet meal; Grilled chicken, roasted potatoes & mushrooms, and broccoli.
Topped off with strawberry's & rhubarb over ice-cream. Yum!
And So Begins Another Week.
