Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 28 weeks since beginning this years ministry. So far we've
had the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 125 Nursing Homes and
20 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday July 9 th ~
Ministered at the "Kilchis House" ALF here in Tillamook, Oregon just before
lunch time. Most the staff disappeared, residents seemed to be in a fog,
then towards the end, things got real quite and folks were listening intently
to the spirit. Awesome!
Went over to the library to publish the update, then drove down the coast to
Lincoln City.
Tuesday July 10 th ~
Ministered at the "Lincolnshire" ALF in their front lobby. Then back to the
Alzheimer's Unit where we all got tickled at one point when a lady, very
seriously wanted to know if my name was Elvis. And again later asked if I
was SURE I wasn't Elvis. Another lady wanted a Kiss. And when I kissed
her hand, she was rather disappointed. All in all we had a fun time.
Wednesday July 11 th ~
Ministered at the "Lincoln City Rehab Center". An older, more poor facility
next to the little hospital here. Staff got together quite a few residents who
stumped me with a number of request for songs I haven't learned yet. That
list (songs I haven't learned yet) is pretty big.
Thursday July 12 ~
Spent some time in a library working on the website. Otherwise, took the
day off.
Friday July 13 th ~
Paid the van's six month liability insurance premium online and did
laundry. Otherwise, took the day off.
Saturday July 14 th ~
Just plain took the day off. Doing a little hiking.
Sunday July 15 th ~
Attended worship services at the Assembly of God church in Newport,
Oregon.
Need to say a special thank you to the Becker Family for providing a
safe-quite place to park while taking a few day's to rest and recharge the
batteries. May God Bless Them!
And So Begins Another Week.
