Nursing Home Music Ministry
"Liberty County Nursing Home" Chester, Montana
Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 22 weeks since beginning this years ministry. So far we've had the privilege
of sharing the gospel in song with 102 Nursing Homes and 15 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday May 28 th ~
It being Memorial Day, libraries were closed making it a challeng to publish the update.
However, the desk clerk (Kia) at the Holiday Inn here in Minot, North Dakota allowed access
to their internet in their Business Center alcove. May God Bless Her!
Got to Stanley, ND about mid-afternoon where they have a city RV Park with free camping. Did
an oil change on the van, went for a long walk, and got a shower.
Tuesday May 29 th ~
Ministered at the "Mountrail Bethel Home" here in Stanley for a large group of folks.
Wednesday May 30 th ~
Drove to Tioga, North Dakota and ministered in the Long Term Care facility of the hospital
here. Then on to Williston, ND to Wal-Mart. Rained all afternoon and night.
Thursday May 31 st ~
Ministered at the "Bethel Lutheran Home" here in Williston. One of the nicest activity centers
I've run across. Complete with stage and in-house sound system. A rather large crowd
gathered, somewhere around a hundred residents and staff. It went quite well, although it
was a little awkward being stuck behind microphones unable to move around and interact.
Looking forward to the time when our ministry has it's own sound system with a wireless
setup allowing freedom of movement.
Friday June 1 st ~
Crossed the border into Montana, and in Poplar, Mt. on the "Fort Peck Indian Reservation"
ministered at a little nursing home attached to the small hospital, for their five residents. We
had a sweet time.
Saturday June 2 nd ~
Further west in Chester, Mt. ministered at the "Liberty County Nursing Home" for a lovely
group of folks. This small town has a park with free camping. So, got a shower at a motel, then
back at the park, shared a meal with a Nomad (Gary).
Sunday June 3 rd ~
Attended worship services at the Assembly of God church here in Chester. Then gave a ride
to our Nomad to the next town where he wanted to catch an interstate highway. Continued
west up into the mountains, around "Glacier National Park", and down into Kalispell, Montana.
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Yours In Christ, Larry
