Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 18 weeks since beginning this years ministry. So far I've enjoyed the privilege of
sharing the gospel in song with 81 Nursing Homes and 13 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday April 30 th ~
Said my goodbye's to the folks at the campground after publishing the newsletter. Then headed
west stopping in Monticello, Indiana to minister at the "Lakeview Commons" assisted living
facility.
Crossed into Illinois to a Wal-Mart for the night.
Tuesday May 1 st ~
Continuing west I stopped in Toluca, Illinois and sang in the "Asta Care Center".
Wednesday May 2 nd ~
Crossed into Iowa to Grinnell where I lined up the four nursing homes for the next few days. Got a
shower, then over to the first, the "Mayflower Health Center" where I sang in the "Carmen
Center" (an awesome activity auditorium with in-house sound system, a stage and baby grand
piano). Had a great crowd, it was wonderful. The A.D. (Bill) gave me an envelope with a beautiful
drawing he had done on it, on the spot. May God Bless Him!
Hooked up with the group of Christians in this area which I've enjoyed fellowshipping with in the
past. And attended mid-week services with them, where I had the opportunity to contribute a
couple of songs and say a few words.
Thursday May 3 rd ~
Ministered over at the "Friendship Manor" where a wheelchair bound lady wanted to hear "She'll
be Come'in Round the Mountain", which I did.
Enjoyed an afternoon of relaxing in the basement living room of this gracious family (Francene,
Randy & Lori) who have taken to putting me up when I'm in the area. May God Bless Them!
In the evening, Francene who is very computer savvy, helped me install some security software
on the laptop.
Friday May 4 th ~
In the morning I sang at the "Windsor Manor". About half way through a lady started having mild
seizures. The staff called an ambulance which took her to the hospital, all in about 5 or 10
minutes. It gave some deeper meaning to what we're singing about.
In the afternoon I sang at the "St. Francis Manor" for a rather large group. Started off with a lot of
activity and noise going on in the area, but by the end the atmosphere was quiet and thoughtful.
In the evening I attended a High School Concert Band Program with a group from the church. It
was very enjoyable.
Saturday May 5 th ~
A Day of Rest.
Sunday May 6 th ~
Attended Worship services at the "Church of Hope" here in Grinnell where I had the Honor of
contributing a couple of songs. Enjoyed a pot-luck lunch afterwards, then at evening services I
was again given the privilege of sharing two songs.

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
