Nursing Home Music Ministry
Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 21 weeks since beginning this years ministry. So far we've had the privilege
of sharing the gospel in song with 97 Nursing Homes and 15 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday May 21 th ~
Enjoyed the Hospitality of the pastors (Louis & Sandy) here in Comstock, Wisconsin for about
half the day. Good fellowship, breakfast and a shower. They even slipped me some gas
money. May God Bless Them!
Had to go to two different towns to find access to the internet and publish the update. A bit
further north, parked in a County Forest for the night.
Tuesday May 22 nd ~
While traveling north, spotted a sign on the highway for the "Middle River Health Care
Center". Sang in their Alzheimer's Unit, then again on a different floor for another sweet
group of folks.
Back on the road in Superior, Wisconsin made the turn west crossing into Minnesota.
Wednesday May 23 rd ~
In Bemidji, Minnesota at the "Havenwood Care Center", once again had the opportunity to
sing first in the Alzheimer's Unit then over in the general area activity room.
Thursday May 24 th ~
In Bagley, Minnesota the nursing home was booked up for the day, so further west in the
town of Fosston, was able to minister at the "First Care Nursing Home" for a large and
wonderful crowd, including quite a few staff members. Afterwards the A.D. (Gail) told me "In
my eighteen years of working here I've never seen residents respond like this". A testament
to the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Friday May 25 th ~
Crossed the border into North Dakota to a town named Devils Lake, and ministered at the
"Odd Fellows Home". Folks seemed to appreciate the lift from the outside weather, cold &
rainy all afternoon and night.
Saturday May 26 th ~
Continuing cold rain most the day with snow flurries. Ministered at the "Hartland Care
Center" here in Devils Lake. Had a Heckler to deal with for a short time. You wouldn't expect
that in nursing homes, but it happens from time to time.
Sunday May 27 th ~
While driving around Rugby, North Dakota looking for a church, spotted the "Haaland Home"
nursing facility. Moved by the Spirit to check, went in and found out they had no worship
service scheduled for the day. With the nurse's permission, was able to organize a service in
their chapel. A rather large group gathered. It went very well. Afterwards, was asked by one
of the lady's to stay for lunch, so enjoyed some more lovely fellowship.
A bit further west in Minot, N.D. with a comfortable sunny day, spent the afternoon exploring
their Zoo. With Lions & Tigers, Monkeys & Giraffes.
Then attended evening services at the "Lighthouse Church" where I had the privilege of
contributing some songs. At the end, this small group of Believers laid hands on, and
Blessed both me and the guitar, and presented a sweet love offering for our ministry. May
God Bless Them!

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
