Cullen's 21 st Birthday
"Saint Elizabeth's Health Care Center"
Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 19 weeks since beginning this years ministry. So far I've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 86 Nursing Homes and 13 Churches. To God Be
The Glory!

What an awesome example of Hospitality this family is, here in Grinnell, Iowa. For several
years now they (Francene, Lori & Randy) have provided a place for me to stay while
ministering in this area. And in addition to feeding me, Francene even left me an envelope
with something for the ministry. May God Bless Them!
After publishing the newsletter, I drove north into Minnesota to attend a birthday party for a
young Brother in Christ (Cullen). It was a wonderful party. A chaplain from Hospice, M.C.'d
what was organized as a baseball game. With activities scheduled for the first ending, second
ending, and so forth. I had the privilege of meeting some truly beautiful Children of God.
Tuesday May 8 th ~
Ministered at "The Centennial House" in Apple Valley, Minnesota for an awesome group of
folks. Residents, and, staff got involved. Nice!
Then over to Rick, Pam and Cullen's where I enjoyed a day of visiting and singing hymns.
Folks coming in and out all day. It was a wonderful time of Christian Fellowship.
Wednesday May 9 th ~
Headed southeast stopping in Lake City, Minnesota to sing at the "Lake City Nursing Home".
Thursday May 10 th ~
Continued southeast to "Saint Elizabeth's Health Care Center" in Wabasha, Minnesota where
I was able to sing in the dinning room for one group, then over to the Alzheimer's Unit for
another lovely group of residents.
Crossed the Mississippi River into Wisconsin to a Wal-Mart for the night.
Friday May 11 th ~
Drove to Elkhorn, Wisconsin to a family's place, who had invited me to come minister in their
area. Took the opportunity to do some lawn mowing, which I don't get to do much of.
Saturday May 12 th ~
Ministered at the "Sunnyside Home" for seven residents, one of which was from Texas. When
I asked how she ended up here, she said "I met a fast talking fella, and married him".
Sunday May 13 th ~
Attended worship services at the "Southern Lakes Evangelical Free Church" here in Elkhorn.
Then over to "Inspiration Ministry's" where I enjoyed an afternoon with an awesome group of
Christians. Folks who truly love the Lord. They asked me lots of questions, so I ended up
singing longer than normal, losing track of time since I was doing more talking than usual. It
was an uplifting, wonderfully interactive experience for me.
During my stay in this area I was given the comfort & convenience of a place to shower &
sleep by a hospitable group of Christians (Cindy, Joy, Mary & Carlos). May God Bless Them!
An So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our god
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Yours In Christ, Larry
