Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 15 weeks since beginning this years ministry. So far I've enjoyed the privilege of
sharing the gospel in song with 63 Nursing Homes and 11 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday April 9 th ~
Leaving Wal-Mart I pulled into a Motel 6 and asked if I could use their internet. Not only did the
girl allow me access, she even let me set up the laptop in a room where the guest had already
checked out. May God Bless Her!
On down the road in the little mountain town of Castlewood, Virginia, I sang at another Residential
Care Facility with under 10 residents. We got a pretty good laugh here at the "Roselawn Rest
Home" when I told the lady in charge what I do, and asked if I could play for them, she responded
"Are you sure". I said "Yea, I'm pretty sure".
She later explained that they don't get much visitation.
Just across the valley in St. Paul, Virginia, I ministered at the "Greystone Manor Home For Adults".
This facility has mostly middle-aged mentally and some physically handicapped residents.
Tuesday April 10 th ~
Ministered at the "Parkview Nursing & Rehab Center" in Pikeville, Kentucky. One gentleman kept
saying a word. Loudly and Often! Once I understood that he was saying, Amen! I had a good time
with it. A lovely lady made a contribution to the ministry, and the staff allowed me to use their
shower. May God Bless Them!
Wednesday April 11 th ~
Crossed into West Virginia and in Williamson I ministered at the "Mingo Manor Nursing Home".
Then on down this winding mountain road to Gilbert, West Virginia where I attended mid-week
services at "Promise Christian Fellowship". The pastor (Beverly) gave me the opportunity to
contribute a song, and the use of their facilities which includes a cute little double-wide mobile
home next to the church building. May God Bless Her!
Thursday April 12 th ~
Spent the morning grocery shopping and doing an oil change on the van. Then I sat up the laptop
in the sanctuary and spent the afternoon seeing what kind of recordings I can get with it.
Friday April 13 th ~
Worked on some more recordings, including a song "Lonesome Lost Soul Blues" with an
awesome guitar track done by a brother in Christ (Andy), which I recorded back in Georgia.
Saturday April 14 th ~
Spent pretty much the whole day at the laptop with headphones on, editing & mixing. Since it was
raining all day, I was nice and cozy and productive in the Parsonage.
Sunday April 15 th ~
Continuing Rains caused area flooding. With some of these mountain roads blocked, church
services were called off for the day. Towards evening a Brother (Randy) was able to drop by for a
visit, and slipped me a little something for the ministry. May God Bless Him!

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
