"Infinia Health Care" Flagstaff, Arizona
Nursing Home Music Ministry
Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 7 weeks since beginning this years ministry. So far I've enjoyed the privilege of
sharing the gospel in song with 26 Nursing Homes and 4 Churches. To God Be The Glory!

Here in Kingman, Arizona the library had wireless internet access which allowed me to publish
and send off the UPDATE.
Then I ministered over at the "Desert Highlands Care Center". A lovely group of folks. One of
the gentlemen used to play guitar with some pretty famous people. He gave me a few tips on
possible adjustments to make mine play easier. As he said goodbye he offered up a heartfelt
prayer for me and the ministry. May God Bless Him!
Tuesday February 13 th ~
While having coffee with the brother in Christ (Mike) who has provided a place to park &
shower the past 2 nights, one of his tenants (Cheryl) came over and gave me a lovely gift for
the ministry. May God Bless Them Both!
Before leaving town I ministered at "The Lingenfelter Center" for Alzheimer's and Behavioral
Health. A large facility with 3 separate secured areas. I sang in the men's only section first, then
over to the women's only, and lastly in the mixed area where some from the other two sections
(who were allowed) joined us for a bible study already going on. Followed by a half hour of
singing along with me. We ended up with a large group, including many staff members getting
involved. It was a powerful time of Revival.
Back on the road, continuing east, I pulled into a Wal-Mart lot in Flagstaff, Arizona about the
time it started snowing.
Wednesday February 14 th ~
Ministered at "The Loyalton of Flagstaff" assisted living facility just a few blocks from where I'd
parked. Lovely group of folks, it went very well.
Thursday February 15 th ~
Weather-wise, I'm in the wrong place for this time of year. Got down to 9 degrees above zero
last night. Ice everywhere inside the van and you might know it, the heater got finicky this
morning and wouldn't light. I eventually got warmed up walking around inside the store and got
over to "Infinia Health Care". I had already arranged to sing for this morning before a couple
was due to hold their first worship service here. Afterwards they told me they were
encouraged, coming in for the first time and hearing the gospel music with the spirit already
moving.
Friday February 16 th ~
Further east in Holbrook, Arizona I ministered at the "Holbrook Senior Citizens Association"
during lunch. Seniors from around town come in, as well as those who can, from the "Holbrook
Extended Care" facility next door. It went very well.
Drove a bit further down the road to a museum with free camping located near the entrance to
the Petrified Nation Forest where I settled in for the evening.
Saturday February 17 th ~
Headed out early. While going through the small town of St. John, Arizona I stopped to look at a
van for sale. (Not that I could do anything if I wanted to, but you never know.) Got to visiting
with the owner, an old-timer (81) who just spent 6 months in the hospital where he lost a leg
and got pneumonia. One of the ladies from their church came by with her daughters and they all
got me to come in and play a couple of songs. I did, visited a bit, and gave 'em a CD on my way
out.
Continuing east, I crossed the border back into New Mexico and parked for the night at a rest
area.
Sunday February 18 th ~
Drove a couple hours till I spotted the "First Baptist Church" in Datil, New Mexico where I
enjoyed the Honor of contributing some songs to the worship service. Towards the end these
sweet folks took up a love offering for my ministry. May God Bless Them!
They shared their regular fellowship lunch, after which the pastors (Kenny & Laurie) had me
follow them back to their place where I enjoyed an evening of getting to know new brothers
and sisters in Christ. Laurie has a wonderful talent of singing and playing her 12 string guitar,
as well as writing quite a few original songs. They have 3 lovely children: Shyann (13), Jace (10),
and little Nizhoni (4) from China whom they recently adopted.

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
