"Jubilee Christian Center's" Praise Team Christmas Party
|

Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 50 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far
we've enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 200
Nursing Homes and 33 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday December 10 th ~
Published from the Rivers Church, then spent the afternoon starting
the process of obtaining the low income medical assistance program
available here. So I can get an abscessed tooth taken care of before
getting back on the road in January.
Tuesday December 11 th ~
Sang at "The Summit at Lakeway" in their main living room. Then over
to their Alzheimer's unit for more.
Later in the evening, I attended a Prayer Meeting at Rivers.
Wednesday December 12 th ~
Ministered at the "Monte Siesta" nursing home here in Austin.
A Cold Wet Day!
In the evening, attended mid-week services at "Rivers of Living Water".
Thursday December 13 th ~
Had a flat tire this morning. Pastor Carl told me of a Tire Place that
fixes flats for free as a promotional service. So, I put the spare on
(which, Praise God, still had some air in it). Drove down the road and
sure enough, they fixed it for free. And now I have a spare with the
correct amount of air in it.
Later, I enjoyed the privilege of ministering at the "Carestone" ALF
during their family night Christmas Party. A Joyful mix of staff &
residents with their kids, grandkids, great grandkids and great great
grandkids. Imagine a hundred of these folks singing "Jesus Loves
Me". It was Beautiful!
Friday December 14 th ~
More work on the laptop. Recording & Remixing.
Saturday December 15 th ~
Attended the early morning bible study/fellowship breakfast at Rivers.
Then drove to north Austin for the Dream Center's Christmas toy
give-away for the neighborhood kids.
A unique ministry was there with a Box van rigged with a side that
folds out making a stage. They call it "OutSide Sunday School". Using
a sound system, puppet shows, etc., they go where the kids are,
teaching about Jesus.
Sunday December 16 th ~
Attended worship services at "Rivers of Living Water", staying for the
Christmas dinner afterwards. Yum!
Then enjoyed the honor of being included in "Jubilee Christian
Center's" Praise Team Christmas party at my dear brother William's
house.
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Yours In Christ, Larry
