"NYACC" Homeless Shelter Worship Service Austin, Texas
Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 47 weeks since beginning this years mission. So
far we've enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with
194 Nursing Homes and 33 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday November 19 th ~
Spent a good part of the day working on the laptop. Publishing the
update and editing songs. Then drove out to Barbara's Home
Group / Pot Luck Dinner / Worship Service / Prayer Meeting.
I've been in the habit of parking out there for the night, having
coffee with the folks in the morning, then coming back into Austin.
Well, along about 4:00 am the Lakeway police woke me up and
asked me to leave.
Tuesday November 20 th ~
Worked on the laptop for most the day, then drove into downtown
Austin where the Pastor of the "Church Under The Bridge" gave me
the Honor of contributing some songs during dinner at their
Homeless Shelter.
Wednesday November 21 st ~
Recorded foundation tracks for another song, then ministered at
"The Summit at Westlake".
Thursday November 22 nd ~
Enjoyed Thanksgiving Dinner with a dear brother in Christ (William)
and his family in the Canyon Lake area west of New Braunfels,
Texas. Turkey and all the trimmings. Yum!
Friday November 23 rd ~
In Yoakum, Texas I sang at the "Stevens Healthcare & Rehab
Center." First in the main activity room, then in the Alzheimer's Unit.
Saturday November 24 th ~
Visited with my mom a bit.
Sunday November 25 th ~
Drove back into Austin and attended worship services at Jubilee,
then over to the Rivers church for the last in the series of Disciple
classes.
And So Begins Another Week.
