Nursing Home Music Ministry
Larry & Kelley & The Dog
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 42 weeks since beginning this years mission.
So far we've enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in song
with 178 Nursing Homes and 30 Churches. To God Be The
Glory!
Monday October 15 th ~
In this small town of Mansfield, Missouri I had to make three
stops to find access to the internet for publishing. Which turned
out to be at the Assembly of God church. Then ministered over
at the "Rocky Ridge Manor". First in the main lobby, then in the
Alzheimer's Unit.
Tuesday October 16 th ~
Drove to Ava, Missouri and sang at "Ava Place". A facility for all
ages of cognitively challenged individuals. Then back to the
church in MaComb where I did an oil change on the van, and
spent three hours on the laptop finishing the editing & mixing
on one of the songs.
Wednesday October 17 th ~
Spent the day in the church working on another song. Then
attended mid-week services.
Thursday October 18 th ~
Took one more day finishing up the last song for the current CD
project. All that's left is a little bit of tweaking here and there,
finish designing the jacket cover, then on to the next CD.
Attended evening worship services at the Cowboy Church
where I enjoyed the Honor of contributing a couple of songs.
Friday October 19 th ~
Drove to Mountain Grove, Missouri and ministered at the
"Autumn Oaks" nursing home. Had a great group of residents
with a number of staff and visitors listening in. The Spirit was
moving.
Continued southeast to Alton, Missouri and hooked up with old
friends (Larry & Kelley).
Saturday October 20 th ~
Spent the day visiting with Larry & Kelley out at their
backwoods cabin.
Sunday October 21 st ~
Having said my goodbye's last night, I got an early start,
crossing the border into Arkansas. Stopped in the small town of
Camp for worship services at the United Methodist Church.
Where the Pastor (Paul) gave me the opportunity to contribute
three songs, and encouraged the flock to provide some gas
money. May God Bless Them!

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
