Nursing Home Music Ministry
Shrine on IH 80 in Pine Bluff, Wyoming
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 39 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far
we've enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 164
Nursing Homes and 27 Churches. To God Be The Glory!

Published the newsletter from the "Church on the Rock" here in
Rawlins, Wyoming. Then over to the Hospital to their long term care
unit. When I asked the charge nurse to see their activity director, she
said "She's not here, would you like to sing for us again?" Both her
and a resident sitting nearby remembered me from last year. So I was
able to minister during lunch for nine patients and several staff
members.
Back at the church building to finish editing & mixing one of the
songs. Then over to Francis' for dinner and fellowship.
Tuesday September 25 th ~
Said my goodbye's. Francis sent me on my way with a sweet donation
for the ministry. And his wife even did my laundry for me. What
thoughtfulness! May God Bless Them!
Ministered at "South Central Wyoming Healthcare & Rehabilitation"
here in Rawlins for a lovely group of folks. Then drove east to Laramie.
Wednesday September 26 th ~
Sang at the "South Wind" ALF here in Laramie. They had a Fire Drill
scheduled at the same time so I helped some folks outside and back
in, then ministered afterwards.
Later in the day I sang for a lovely group at the "Ivinson Home for
Aged Ladies".
Thursday September 27 th ~
Ministered at the "Laramie Care Center" right after their bible study,
for a small group of impoverished folks.
Friday September 28 th ~
Continuing east, I pulled off the highway into the "Medicine Bow
National Forest". Went for a long hike, relaxed a bit doing some
reading, and decided to stay for the night.
Saturday September 29 th ~
Back on the road, crossed the border into Nebraska and ministered at
the "Kimball County Manor". Staff allowed me a shower, fed me a
meal, and donated eight dollars to the ministry. May God Bless Them!
Sunday September 30 th ~
Attended worship services at the "Calvary Baptist Church" here in
Sidney, Nebraska where I enjoyed the Honor of contributing a couple
of songs. Of all the churches the Lord could have led me to, this was
the one who's Pastor's turn it was to hold services at two of the
nursing homes in town.
So I joined him in the afternoon at the "Memorial Hospital Extended
Care Facility". Since I was early, I grabbed the guitar and went up and
down the halls (Strum'in up Business). We had quite a crowd in their
little Chapel Room.
Then I followed Richard over to the "Golden Living Center" where a
group was already gathered.
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Yours In Christ, Larry
