Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 40 weeks since beginning this year’s mission. So far I've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 179 Nursing Homes and 19 Churches. To
God Be The Glory!
Monday November 27 th ~
Started off the work week spending about three hours publishing the newsletter on
the website and sending out emails, and another four hours recording, editing &
mixing "I'll Fly Away". Got the lead vocals and guitar tracks done.
Then drove out to Lakeway for Barbara's Home Group/Pot-Luck Dinner/Worship
Service/Prayer Meeting. Every week, it seems like different folks show up. Numbers
run somewhere between 25 and 30. Tonight there was a young man (Paul) with an
awesome guitar playing talent. I don't know if I've ever seen someone change chords
so fast, all over the fret board. And I think he played em all.
As always, it was a wonderful night of Praise, Worship and Fellowship.
Received a lovely gift for the ministry from Terrance and Mabel. May God Bless
Them!
Tuesday November 28 th ~
Drove into Austin and did a little recording & editing, then back out to Lakeway to
"The Summit at Lakeway" where I ministered in "The Arbors" which is the Alzheimer's
section of this facility. Folks were attentive, singing along, and a lady who was
slumped over in the beginning, perked up and smiled, swaying to the beat.
Back to Austin for more work on the recordings.
Wednesday November 29 th ~
Along about mid-morning I ministered at the "Grace House at Lake Travis" for a lovely
group of folks. Some were singing along, clapping & smiling, there was even a
halleluiah or two. Praise God!
Spent the afternoon editing & mixing tracks for "I'll Fly Away". Then attended mid-
week worship services at "Cathedral of Praise". Afterwards a Brother (Travis) treated
me to a BBQ dinner. Yum! May God Bless Him!
Thursday November 30 th ~
Spent the day recording, editing, and mixing the guitar and lead vocal tracks for
"When We All Get To Heaven".
Friday December 1 st ~
Recorded, edited & mixed the guitar and lead vocals for "When The Roll Is Called Up
Yonder". Then ministered at "The Summit at Westlake" here in Austin. It went very
well.
The singles group from Jubilee got together for a movie (The Nativity) and a party
afterwards. There were three of us celebrating birthdays for November and December.
We had cake & cookies, and sang some Christmas Carols. A nice time of
fellowship.
Saturday December 2 nd ~
Attended a noon Luncheon at Jubilee Christian Center. Yum! Then drove about 90
miles to Yoakum, Texas where I'd been invited to sing "Away In A Manger" at their
annual "Christmas In The Park". We had a nice size crowd with decent weather, a little
chilly but not too cold. It was an Honor and Privilege to be able to contribute to the
event.

Sunday December 3 rd ~
Drove back to Austin where I attended worship services at the "Rivers of Living
Water" church. There was a couple from South Africa who preached the sermon.
Afterwards, while the wife was greeting folks, as she touched my hand she exclaimed
"You are a Psalmist for the Lord!" It made me feel special.
Along about mid-afternoon I joined the pastor and a few others at the "Englewood
Estates Retirement Residence" for their monthly service. Where I enjoyed the pleasure
of contributing a couple of songs.

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry

Monday October 30 th ~
Drove out to Lakeway, Texas and attended a Home Group/Worship
Service/Healing Revival/Pot-Luck Dinner. Wonderful Time! The host
(Barbara) encouraged me to lead some songs. Everyone was singing
along and at one point parading around the room while singing "When
the Saints Go Marching In".  We had a good ole time!
Tuesday October 31 st ~
Ministered at "The Summit at Lakeway". Sang in "The Arbors"
(Alzheimer's Unit), for a lovely group.

Several folks were singing along with most of the songs. As I was
leaving, the residents expressed their Joy in various ways.
Wednesday November 1 st ~
Ministered at the "Grace House of Lake Travis". Afterwards as I was
going around thanking folks for listening, there was a lady who
couldn't talk, but the tears running down her face spoke volumes.
Back in Austin I visited a sickly friend (Peter) who last year helped
with the first CD. He's not doing well and could use some prayer.  I
then attended mid-week worship services at Jubilee, where I enjoyed
the privilege of singing with the Praise Team.
Thursday November 2 nd ~
Did a little work on the van. Worked on the Website. Had dinner with a
friend (Joe). I feel the Lord is working on him, please pray for his
Salvation.
Friday November 3 rd ~
Spent some more time working on the website, then ministered at the
"Austin Nursing Center". A rather large and poor facility. I ended up
singing in three different Dining Rooms. A few distractions in one of
them, however a number of residents seemed to be lifted up. All in all
it went quite well.
Saturday November 4 th ~
Drove a hundred miles to a Gospel Music Jubilee, where I enjoyed the
Honor of contributing a few songs. And gained some experience,
playing with other musicians.
Sunday November 5 th ~
Back in Austin I attended worship services at the "River of Living
Waters" Church. Then, at the "Englewood Estates Retirement
Residence" I sang for about 30 minutes until a group from the River
Church came to hold their monthly meeting. I also enjoyed the Honor
of contributing a couple of songs during the service.
Afterwards the Pastor (Carl) treated two of us to DQ Blizzards, and
even filled my gas tank. May God Bless Him!
Later I attended a Home Group/Bible Study/Pot Roast Dinner(Yum!),
from another Church. And again enjoy the privilege of contributing
some songs.

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry

Published some stuff on the Website and sent out the UPDATE.  I arranged to minister
at a couple more nursing homes. And then attended Barbara's Home Group/Bible
Study/Prayer Service/Pot Luck Dinner where I enjoyed the Honor of contributing a few
songs. A dear sister in Christ (Mabel) presented me with a lovely gift for the ministry.
May God Bless Her!
Tuesday November 7 th ~
I ministered in Lockhart, Texas at the "Chisholm Trail Living & Rehab Center". About
three quarters through, a frail little lady became emotional while singing "Power in the
Blood". Attendants wheeled her out, and returned her shortly, wrapped in a blanket.
Afterwards as I went to her, she said "I'm not feeling well". So I prayed for her
comfort.
Wednesday November 8 th ~
Published more on the website and attended mid-week worship services at Jubilee
where I enjoyed the honor of singing with the praise team.
Thursday November 9 th ~
Ministered at the "West Oaks Rehab & Healthcare Center" where in-between some of
the songs the Lord gave me a few words of encouragement to pass on to the
residents.

Friday November 10 th ~
More work on the website.
Saturday November 11 th ~
I went on an excursion to Enchanted Rock State Park with the Christian Singles Group
from Jubilee. Nine of us made the 2 hour trip in the church van to climb this massive
rock hill/mountain. It was a pretty good work out and well worth the effort, to gain the
feeling of accomplishment and the view from the top.
On the way back we stopped for BBQ, avoided a close call with another vehicle, and
made it back safe and sound having had a wonderful time. Thank you Lord!
Sunday November 12 th ~
Attended worship services at the "Christian Life Church" here in Austin. Wonderful
message, and at one point during the service there was a speaking in tongues with an
interpretation. Awesome!
Later I attended Sarah's Home Group/Bible Study where I enjoyed the Honor of
singing a few songs.

And so begins another week.

May the Lord our God
Guard, guide and direct you,
in the name of Jesus. Amen!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 38 weeks since I began this years mission. So far I've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the Gospel in song with 174 Nursing Homes and 19 Churches. To
God be the Glory!
Monday November 13 th ~
I started off the week by driving across Austin in morning commuter traffic. Yuk!
However, it was worth the effort to be able to minister at the "Gracy Woods II" nursing
home which is a large Alzheimer's facility. Many of the residents were present in the
room I sang in, as well as out in the hallway. One lady asked me to sing "Count Your
Blessings". Now that's a lesson for all of us, when a lady in an Alzheimer's Unit counts
her blessings.

Back in south Austin I spent a few hours sending out the UPDATE and publishing on
the website, then drove out to Lakeway for Barbara's Home Group/Pot-Luck
Dinner/Worship Service. A Brother in Christ (Stephen) was present from Uganda who
pastors two churches and runs an orphanage containing 500 children. Now that'll
keep you busy. May God Bless Him!
Tuesday November 14 th ~
I drove back into Austin to "The Park at Beckett Meadows" and sang in the main
entrance for thirty minutes. One of the lady's and a retired minister gave me words of
encouragement which helped me see and feel the good fruit being born. May God
Bless Them!
I then went to the Alzheimer's Unit and ministered for another half hour for a lovely
group who were clapping and singing along.
Wednesday November 15 th ~
I tried singing at the "Monte Siesta Nursing Facility". My voice was giving me some
trouble, but thankfully the A.D. (Robin) sang along with most of the songs which
helped tremendously. She even made an offering to the ministry from her own pocket.
May God Bless Her!
Thursday November 16 th ~
Ministered at "The Continental" assisted living complex, which is a very plush,
relatively new facility where a lovely group of folks gathered to listen. One gentleman
who used to sing in barber shop quartets, stood with me harmonizing during "Just a
Closer Walk With Thee". He sounded good!
Friday November 17 th ~
Drove across Austin to the "Gracy Woods I" nursing center where I sang for a large
group of folks in their activity room. By the time I'd finished they were overflowing into
the hallway. There was a gentleman pretty much cationic until about halfway through
when I sang "In the Garden". From that time on he started singing along, and
expressed his appreciation afterwards while I was going around shaking hands and
thanking folks for listening. Praise God!
Saturday November 18 th ~
Having the use of a friend’s computer, we downloaded a program which basically
turns it into a multi-track recorder (Home Recording Studio). I began learning how to
use it and am now OFFICIALLY working on a second CD for the ministry. Praise God!
And Thank You Jesus!
Sunday November 19 th ~
Attended worship services at Jubilee Christian Center, joined the singles for lunch,
then back to the computer to continue work on the CD.

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry

It has now been 39 weeks since I began this year’s mission. So far I've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 175 nursing homes and 19 churches. To

Monday November 20 th ~
I spent most of the day on the computer, publishing the newsletter on the website,
sending off the UPDATE, and recording & mixing the first song for the second CD.
Then I drove out to Lakeway for Barbara's Home Group/Pot-Luck Dinner/Worship
Service/Prayer Meeting. Awesome things are happening there.
Tuesday November 21 st ~
Drove on out to north central Austin to the "Brethren Church" where The Dream
Center folks were giving out turkeys & fixings to the neighborhood impoverished.
Pulled out my guitar and sang some songs with the Brothers & Sisters there.
Nice!
Wednesday November 22 nd ~
Spent most the day recording, editing, and mixing 9 tracks for "Precious Memories". I
now have 2 songs for the new CD. Thank You Jesus!
Thursday November 23 rd ~
A dear brother in Christ had invited me over to share his family's Thanksgiving Dinner.
What a Feast! Also, several of his family members played instruments so we had a
good ole jam session.

Good Food! Good Company! Afterwards, as William was walking me out to the van, he
even slipped me a little something for the ministry. May God Bless Him!
Friday November 24 th ~
Recorded, edited & mixed ("Away In A Manger") the 3 rd song for the new CD.     Also
recorded one verse and chorus of "Send the Light" to publish on the website. Praise
The Lord!
Saturday November 25 th ~
Recorded, edited & mixed ("Go Tell It On The Mountain") the 4 th song for the new
CD. Thank You Lord!
Sunday November 26 th ~
Attended worship services at the "Cathedral of Praise" church here in Austin. A first
time visitor (Diane) and I got to visiting before services. Turns out she was aware of
my mission from another source. Being lead by the Spirit, she offered a lovely gift to
the ministry. May God Bless Her!
At 3:30 pm I was scheduled to sing at the "Englewood Estates Retirement Residence".
I ministered for a sweet group of ladies and gentlemen. Did a little more preaching
than usual in-between songs, since folks seemed to expect it. Worked out just fine.
As I was visiting with the residents afterwards, there were several tear filled eyes. One
lady told me "You've reminded us of what Jesus did for us, is doing for us, and will do
for us". May God Bless Her!

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
