Dear Brothers And Sisters In Christ, Merry Christmas.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 43 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far I've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 187 Nursing Homes and 19 Churches. To God Be
The Glory!
Monday December 18 th ~
I published the newsletter on the website. Recorded & edited backup harmonies to "When
the Roll is Called up Yonder". Then drove out to Lakeway for Barbara's Home
Group/Pot-Luck Dinner/Worship Service/ Prayer Meeting. There was a Brother there,
originally from Germany, who has been a missionary in Kenya for the past 3 years. An
awesome keyboard player.
Something you don't see everyday happened this evening. A Pastor from New York (who lost
his wife a while back) called long distance and had Barbara put him on the speaker phone.
With all of us listening, he Proposed to Miriam, and she accepted. Pretty Neat!
Tuesday December 19 th ~
Ministered at "The Summit at Lakeway". Nice relaxing atmosphere. Several folks were
singing along, some loud enough for me to here them, others simply mouthing the words
which is encouraging to me. Lets me know I'm reaching them.
Back in Austin I did some more work on the computer.
Wednesday December 20 th ~
Worked on the website. Worked on the CD. Attended mid-week worship services at Jubilee.
A dear couple (Sam & Beverly) gave me a Beautiful gift for the ministry. May God Bless Them!
Thursday December 21 st ~
It's my Birthday! Fifty One! Spent the day on the computer recording, editing & mixing backup
vocals for "A Beautiful Life". Then went through the files and trimmed & exported 9 of the 15
songs now ready to Burn on a CD. Gettin Close!
Friday December 22 nd ~
Ministered at "Gracy Woods I" in North Austin. This is a rather large Alzheimer's Facility. The
staff had gathered up a big crowd in the main lobby. Folks were singing along, making
request, smiling, clapping. I was truly blessed.
Saturday December 23 rd ~
Did more recording of harmonies on some of the songs with a couple of sisters in christ
(Sarah & Peggy).
Sunday December 24 th ~
Attended a candlelight communion worship service at Jubilee Christian Center. A dear
couple (Marvin & Carol) gave me a Beautiful gift for the ministry. May God Bless Them!
Did some more editing on one of the songs, then in the evening, exchanged Christmas Eve
gifts with a lovely family gathered in Austin from Houston, Dallas and Oregon.
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Yours In Christ, Larry
