Nursing Home Music Ministry

I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 41 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far
I've enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 181
Nursing Homes and 19 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday December 4 th ~
Spent a good part of the day on the computer. Then drove out to
Lakeway for Barbara's Home Group/Pot-Luck Dinner/Worship
Service/Prayer Meeting where I had the pleasure of contributing a
few songs.
Tuesday December 5 th ~
Back in Austin I recorded, edited & mixed the guitar and lead vocals
for "Just a Closer Walk with Thee". Then drove to Lockhart, Texas
and ministered at the "Chisolm Trail Living & Rehab Center". Another
lovely group of folks. The A.D. (Mary) passed on an uplifting
compliment to me from the staff. May God Bless Them!
Wednesday December 6 th ~
Spent most the day recording, editing & mixing, what I'm starting to
call the foundation (i.e. guitar and lead vocals) for two and a half
more songs. From there, later on at any time, I can add backup
vocals, other instruments, etc. It's an exciting process, trying this,
trying that, this works, that doesn't. Learning and Growing.
Attended mid-week worship services at Jubilee Christian Center.
Thursday December 7 th ~
Did some recording work, then over to the "West Oaks Rehab &
Healthcare Center". The dad of one of the members of Jubilee lives
here. It's always a pleasure to see him again.
Friday December 8 th ~
Went to a pre-interview with a couple of lady's who Host a Christian
talk show on Access TV here in Austin. It went very well. Spent the
rest of the day doing more recording, editing & mixing.
Saturday December 9 th ~
Worked on the website some, did a little recording, editing & mixing
work. Then attended "Cathedral of Praise" where Mahesh Chavda
was ministering.
Sunday December 10 th ~
For Worship Services I drove out to Lake Travis and joined the end
of a spiritual weekend retreat involving the "Luke 4:18 Ministries". It
was a wonderful time of Worship, Praise and Fellowship.
Later, back in Austin, I attended Sarah's monthly Home Group Bible
Study where we ended the night with a cookie exchange. Yum!
And So Begins Another Week
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Yours In Christ, Larry
