Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 5 week since beginning this years mission. So far we've
enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 19 Nursing Homes and
3 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
Monday February 2 nd ~
A Glitch in the program prevented publishing the update on the website. It
locked into trying to publish all files in the site. And the site has gotten so big it
simply wouldn't do this in a timely manner. So, looks like I need to streamline
the site. Hope to have it up and running soon.
On a more positive note, the required yearly vehicle inspection on the van
somehow passed. Worn tires, cracked windshield and all. Praise God! Also got
the license renewal done. Both for under a hundred dollars.
Drove on out to Lakeway for Barb's Home Group/Pot Luck Dinner/Worship
Service/Prayer Meeting.
Tuesday February 3 rd ~
Spent some time on the phone with Yahoo getting Ideals on streamlining the
website. Had lunch with Brother William. Then drove to Lockhart, Texas and
ministered at the "Chisolm Trail Living & Rehab Center".
Wednesday February 4 th ~
In Yoakum, Texas I sat with mom a bit in the nursing home, and also worked on
the website. Finally got it organized and republished.
Thursday February 5 th ~
Sang at the "Yoakum Nursing & Rehab Center" out next to the hospital for a
small group of folks.
Friday February 6 th ~
Ministered at the "Stevens Nursing Center of Hallettsville" for a large group.
This is a second nursing home which my uncle built many years ago. Although
it was sold to a corporation in the eighties.
Saturday February 7 th ~
Worked on the laptop throughout most the day, looking in on mom from time to
time.
Sunday February 8 th ~
Attended worship services at the "Believer's Christian Center" here in Yoakum.
This was rather interesting considering they are using the downtown movie
theater I used to take my siblings to on saturdays when we were children.
And So Begins Another Week.
