Nursing Home Music Ministry
Dad as a teenager
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 22 Nursing Homes and
3 Churches. To God Be The Glory!

Monday February 9 th ~
Published from the library in Yoakum, Texas.
Spent the rest of the day working on the laptop and sitting with mom from time
to time.

Tuesday February 10 th ~
Ministered at the "Whispering Oaks" nursing home in Cuero, Texas. Walked up
and down the hallways for a while strumming up business. The A.D. asked me
to sing in a room for a lady who couldn't get out of bed. Then I went on into the
cafeteria for the main group.

Wednesday February 11 th ~
Back in Yoakum, alternated between sitting with mom and working on the
laptop.

Thursday February 12 th ~
Sang in Cuero at the old "Cuero Nursing Home" for a small group.

Friday February 13 th ~
Ministered at the new "Cuero Nursing & Rehab Center" for a large group. Then
back in Yoakum my little brother (Ray) and sister (Connie) came in for the night.
Kind of nice spending some time with them.

Saturday February 14 th ~
A Day of Rest.

Sunday February 15 th ~
Attended worship services at a little country church about fifteen miles east of
Yoakum in an area called Fortran. This is where my dad grew up on a farm. And
over the years we visited frequently. Lots of my kinfolk still go there.
Mom is noticeably weaker and more restful today. This past week has been
rough. With the cancer advanced into her brain, there's been very little coherent
communication. Although quite a bit of agitation and vocalization in between the
drugs wearing off and then taking effect again. May God Ease Her Passage!

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
