Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 43 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 137 Nursing Homes and 33 Churches. To God Be
The Glory!
Monday October 25 th ~
Published the newsletter from Donny & Sue Ellen's place (Spirit Hill) out in the country.
Tuesday October 26 th ~
Drove to LaGrange, Texas and ministered at the "Jefferson Place" assisted living facility.
Driving from there to Giddings I spotted "Camp Lost Pines". A retreat camp, owned and
operated by the Church of God.
Pulled in and visited with the caretaker (Refugio) who ended up providing a place to park for
the night and access to their shower house. M.G.B.H!
Wednesday October 27 th ~
Sang at the "Oak Manor" nursing home in Giddings, Texas.
Thursday October 28 th ~
Ministered in the Alzheimer's unit of the "Country Care Plex" in Giddings, Texas with some
support from the staff members.
The library here in town has small-private-lockable study rooms. So I spent time working on
the book, then drove to "Spirit Hill" for their Thursday night Fellowship Dinner/Bible Study.
Donny is an awesome teacher. Extremely knowledgeable with God given insight, able to
impart these things with meekness and gentleness of spirit. M.G.B.H!
Friday October 29 th ~
Drove to Austin and did some writing in a park. Then attended the Friday night service at
"Cathedral of Praise".
Saturday October 30 th ~
Attended the Sabbath Day service at Zion (a Jewish Christian congregation).
Later, a Christian Singles Group from Jubilee had a party with lots of pizza and sweet
fellowship.
Sunday October 31 st ~
Attended "Rivers of Living Water", then over to "Cathedral of Praise" for an awesome Pot
Luck Dinner. Followed by a talent show featuring the children of the congregation.
And So Begins Another Week.
