Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 39 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 141 Nursing Homes and 29 Churches. To God Be
The Glory!
Monday September 28 th ~
Published the update from Randy & Stacey's house here in Rawlins, Wyoming. Then
ministered at the "South Central Wyoming Healthcare & Rehab Center".
Tuesday September 29 th ~
Continued east to Laramie, Wyoming.
Wednesday September 30 th ~
interesting facility names I've run across.
Thursday October 1 st ~
A Cold front blew in. With high winds, freezing temperatures and snow in the forecast, I
headed east out of the mountains. At a rest area on the Nebraska border, as I came back out
to the van, I noticed one of the tires going flat. Limped into the little town there, to a large
truck repair shop. Under thirty minutes, thirteen dollars, and back on the road. What a
Blessing!
No blowout at highway speeds! No parked on a busy interstate changing a flat tire in
freezing weather! Praise God!
Continued on to Sutherland, Nebraska and sang at the "Sutherland Care Center".
Friday October 2 nd ~
Drove on to Alma, Nebraska and sang at the "Good Samaritan" nursing home. The
Administrator (Markus), like last year, offered the use of an extra bedroom for as long as
needed. What Hospitality!
Originally from Switzerland, Markus recently, in the past few weeks, became a US citizen.
Saturday October 3 rd ~
Joined some of the staff for an outing whereby a large number of golf cart owners in this
small community met at a hiking path and took one each of the residents on this three mile
ride beside the lake.
Sunday October 4 th ~
Attended the Lutheran Church here in Alma with Markus. These dear folks gave me the
Honor of contributing a Special during the worship service.
And So Begins Another Week.
