privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 11 Nursing Homes and 3 Churches. To
God Be The Glory!
Monday January 12 th ~
Published the update from the school here in Quemedo. Then, having said my
goodbye's to Kenny and family (who truly love the Lord) I drove east to Socorro, New
Mexico and hooked up with the pastor (Bob) of the "First Baptist Church". Kenny had
called ahead arranging a place for me to park and plug in the heater. May God Bless
Them Both! As it got down to 20 degrees last night. A bit warmer than the 13 degrees
last night.
Tuesday January 13 th ~
Sang at the "Good Samaritan" here in Socorro, spent a couple of hours doing laundry,
then drove east into the Capitan Mountains. Stopped at a community church in the
town of Capitan where I was able to get permission to park and plug in for the night. A
bunch of ladies were gathering for an aerobics class and talked me into joining them. I
somehow survived this much needed exercise. The back is doing much better.
Wednesday January 14 th ~
Enjoyed the Honor of singing at the "Mescalero Care Center" on the Apache
Reservation. Afterwards while shaking hands and visiting, a dear lady told me "I want
you to know I'm a hundred and one." I challenged her saying "Well dear you have a
ways to catch up to Noah." With a smile she replied "I don't think I'm going to make it."
Continuing east I stopped in Roswell, New Mexico and at the "Trinity House of Praise"
I was given the privilege of presenting a Special during services.
Thursday January 15 th ~
Ministered at the "Sunset Villa Care Center" here in Roswell. Then back to the church,
where I was allowed to park overnight, I did an oil change on the van.
Friday January 16 th ~
Crossed the border into Texas and ministered at the "Brownfield Rehab Care Center"
during their "Penguin Party".
Turns out this town (Brownfield) has a city park with free RV hookups for up to five
days. So I was able to run the little heater.
Saturday January 17 th ~
Sang at the "Cottage Village" assisted living facility here in Brownfield. The folks
graciously invited me to stay for lunch. May God Bless Them!
Sunday January 18 th ~
Drove into Lubbock, Texas and attended Brice & Judy's Home Church "Encouraging
Word" where I enjoyed the Honor of contributing some songs during the worship
service. Afterwards, had a sweet time of fellowship with this loving couple. May God
Bless Them!
And So Begins Another Week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Yours In Christ, Larry
